How dare he.... the swine.
Yes, we lost 3-0 on 10th January 1970, a week after we beat Everton in the FA Cup and a week before I became a Lane regular (v Preston)Ninian Park Cardiff ?
Fantastic , happy days !
Flynn ...and Duncan MacKenzie?
Ian Butler taking the shot? Not sure though...@Silent Blade?
The Invisible Man!
He was ahead of his time; 'unseen work'.
Nice tidy player but not suited to DB's game.
His dad pulled a decent pint too so I thought you'd have been all over that, or were you one of the new fangled yuppies waiting for the latest Beaujolais Nouveau?
Ken Houghton maybe?Ian Butler taking the shot? Not sure though...@Silent Blade?
NoKen Houghton maybe?
Either him or Ian Butler as HighfieldBlade suggestedChris Chilton?
What have you been sniffing this time? Hope it’s not cooks knickers again.
Hmm I'll take that as a clear sign you were barred from the Sheldon.
We're you dealing drugs or just too insistent that everyone buy your inedible cockles and whelks? I bet a few in your family believed you, when you said that white coat was because you were a top surgeon .
Is that the Royal "We're" Si?
. You'd be sharing a field with old donkeys if Mum didn't have that soft spot for you.
It's the predictive text on my Vertu mobile communication device. I think it was all the gleaming gold that impaired my vision.
It was most certainly not, reading your old copies of Penthouse under the covers with inadequate light.
Better than sharing a bed with them. Bestiality is best, eh Scott?
He told Bassett he didn’t want to play as a centre half. That was the start of it. Then Bassett sorted him a move and he turned it down, which pissed Bassett off and, if I remember correctly, he told him to stay away from the Lane. He was a pillock, he could have been a decent to good top level centre half. As you say, much better in that position than centre mid.His best games for us was when he played a defensive role. Then DB fell out with him for some reason ( see Hill, Bradshaw, Wood etc).

Frank Lampard's Tony Currie?
