Dear Mr Mc Cabe

Well seeing as the centre isn’t run by United but by a company linked to Regus office services - which incidentally made a profit in 2017 - maybe your eyes are painted on? So yet again you’re spouting unsubstantiated bollocks. Just because it suits your agenda, doesn’t make it true, as we see once again.

It may actually turn a profit, who knows? But you have no idea whether it makes a loss or not because you know fuck all about it. No one needs an accountancy degree to see that. Anyone with a membership of the Teletubbies Junior Fan Club could work that out.

What next, “those statues in the car park don’t make us any money” ?

They run it, McCabe owns it. He pays them to manage it. They win as they're paid on commission. Idiot.

Now back to the real issue which you avoided, why would anyone want to buy an office block inside a football ground, especially one as grotesque as that one, when it's the football club they're interested in?

You’re the idiot. Paid on commission? Do you know anything. They lease it and sub let.
How come you didn’t mention this originally in your financial analysis of the centre btw?l’m confident you didn’t know. (although “it’s half fucking empty” isn’t a recognised accounting principle).

You said it made losses. How do you know?

Well Brainiac, how about diversifying for additional income streams? Let’s see, property multi millionaire seeks to earn extra income by property transactions, his core business. Why do we offer conferencing facilities, weddings, etc etc. Left field I know but k’m guessing to make money.

The best thing about this is you spout nonsense with no evidence , get put straight, spout more nonsense and get Internet lairy.

I’ve answered your question with the only possible answer.

Now, you tell me why it loses money.

If your eyesight is as good as your financial savvy, l’ve got a stick. Some white paint and old pair of Foster Grants you can have. I’m not subjecting a nice Labrador to your tantrums though.

The Prince wanted the modern way of recruiting from all over the world.

McCabe and Wilder believe in the outdated British only recruiting.

Prince probably frustrated and thought what’s the point in chucking his money into something he doesn’t agree with.

It’s a shame really as the Prince has the money and McCabe has already chucked in loads ( if that is true).

I just hope Wilder gets 5/10 million in Jan, gets a couple of strikers in and we end up in the top six.

You're rambling again Smithers. I'll try again:

Why would anyone want to buy an office block inside a football ground, especially one as grotesque as that one, when it's the football club they're interested in?

All together now, oh-oh Kevin McCabe ah!

If they were buying a football club you might think that they would have an interest in owning the stadium though.

I would certainly expect that.

To make money dopey. Can’t you read? Why do you think McCabe developed it in the first place, to give people another reason to slag him off in the future?

Come on, those losses. Let’s see the figures. How many empty offices can your X-ray vision make out? Or do you only demand answers?

My assertion is more valid than yours irrespective of your opinion of yourself. If the Prince wanted an office block I'm sure he's got the means to build one to his design and specification elsewhere, especially one outside of a football ground.

I made the observation that the offices were half empty and deduced they were losing money as a result. You think they're making money because you used to be an accountant. Hmm, OK, I used to be a civil engineer so I think it would be a great idea to build a monorail between the kop and BLUT.

I agree entirely, it's the white elephants that go with it which are the stumbling blocks.

Seems Tuna man is going to do a Q & A for the pigs, maybe you can do the same and let us know where all the dosh is going and what the future holds.
As for CW, seems to be unconcerned that he's getting only money for loan players. His attitude leaves me to think he's gonna pull a rabbit out of the hat. Or maybe a surprise signing.
Still think it's maybe best to get a loan, see what happens and then try for a full deal if it works. Bet the pigs would have preferred Nogoals on a loan deal rather than screwing up £10.4 million on a transfer fee and getting on £10 million plus in signing on fee, wages over the next three years.
Just wondered if we'd signed Woodburn for say £6 million with the Brook's money. Don't think we would have been too happy.
West Brom have done well, spent loadsa money, but on tried and tested players.

I’m a long way from his biggest fan but McCabe is the most transparent out of the two owners. I’m more than slightly uncomfortable one of our owners is one of the royals from a murderous state. Right now I’d take McCabe for all his ills over an owner who never shows up. It’s not always about the money.

McCabes preference was because the ball was in the Prince’s court as the option to buy rested with him. The share price was £5m. I thought it was investment in shares the Prince wanted not a gift. Therefore any additional share investment by McCabe would be worthless.

HRH, it would appear, didn’t want to pay for the property assets. I would have thought that alone would ring warning bells for even the most devout anti McCabists, without even considering he may have tried to pull a fast one.
Doasnt look good when a possible owner tries to fleece his partner ,McCabe must be having nightmares about the ownership position

What if the ball hits it?
Not sure you've thought that one too thoroughly.

So it’s an assertion now, not a fact. How is it more valid? You didn’t know there was a management company involved - that makes a profit - you didn’t know the they were profitable at that one location. commission, ffs, they aren’t shopacheck salesmen.

My “assertion” is based purely on facts, including the fact you have no idea of what you’re talking about.

Now I’ve not spoken to him, but I’d guess HRH knew about the office block when he first signed up to the deal so why it should suddenly become a deal breaker is something that only exists in your head.

I still am one, part time these days as my daughter will take over soon. Again, another wrong assertion. But then I didn’t say United we’re making money ( I clearly said “who knows”) so you’re fibbing now.

And finally, to compound your idiocy, after it being suggested a property dealer built a business centre to make money, the only thing you can counter with is the absolutely ridiculous analogy of building a monorail about 150 yards long. If that’s a joke, it’s on you.

Btw, knowing nothing much about civil engineering other than being company accountant for one many years ago, l wouldn’t make myself look a twat by commenting on it. Certainly not by looking at a project outside of business hours and basing any opinion simply on how many lights were on at the time.

Well the office block was such a great idea every club in the league followed suit and built one. Like the one at erm, let me think...

Take a walk around, ask a few questions at reception. No one will mind. Then you will have a few facts to counter my argument instead of singing praises to McCabe and getting the mards on when anyone challenges him.

And you completely missed the sarcasm on the monorail. It would look great but the Prince wouldn't want to buy that either and I would look as ridiculous as you for insisting he was being horrible and nasty to McCabe for turning it down.

How many offices work Saturday afternoon and Tuesday evening ?

He’s like a trainspotter. Logs everyone going in and out everyday, 24/7. Divides by the number of offices he makes up and Kev’s your enemy, losses.

Little book, pen on a string around his neck, flask, cushion, the lot.

Regardless of what's on the land accompanying the ground and academy, the amount they appear to be squabbling over (or should I say, princey trying to get out of purchasing) is actually valued less than I thought it would be.

If he really had the funds people make out, he'd pay it... I would.

Nah, that's the preserve of trainspotters and accountants.

So would I if I had the money but then again I'm a Blade, the Prince isn't, he's just a hard nosed businessman. This is the point many seem to miss.

Even as a hard nosed businessman, if he had the bollocks to move us, he'd make off the proceeds of the prime city centre spot.

PS - Don't even think about it

I honestly think this is how it will end up, the Prince will get control and the game of bluff will then start over the Lane with the Prince eventually telling McCabe to lump it over the non-footballing assets included within it.

West Brom have done well, spent loadsa money, but on tried and tested players.

The club is obligated to do one fans forum per season. Last season McCabe effectively did two, with the charity event at Sheffield Uni.

So you’ve been in to ask the staff on reception? And they’d no the financial results for both United and the lessee? :) :) :)

I’ve not sang any praises, simply pointed out that you’re wrong.

It was done to provide income streams. You know, to benefit the club. Look at the plans for Spurs and Brentford’s new grounds. Both include areas rented out. Same at the Emirates Spurs will rent to Sainsbury- probably on commission for every bottle of milk that gets sold - AND are building a hotel. Please don’t go there though, you’ll burn yourself to a frazzle, unless you’ve been to reception and got the lowdown there as well!!!!

Isn’t the lease for the rental property assets due for renewal soon? Even if HRH didn’t buy the property only the club, he’d face a large rise to a commercial rent, far in excess of what the FC pays now.,

Ok so McCabe wanted to put something in for investment and the Prince would only agree if McCabe lost it if he lost the court case, which is highly likely.
So I got it a bit arse about tit, but it’s still the Prince who looked to stop the route to additional investment.
I think those attacking McCabe may look back rather more fondly when the Prince has sole control.

Why ?
We've seen McCabes limitations
Perhaps a change will be a good thing
He might be the poorest Prince in Saudi but if he gets full control who knows where it might lead

We know where it will lead with McCabes limited pockets and limited ambitions, he's a United fan so deep down he agrees, footballers wages are ridiculous.
He wouldn't sign top quality if he had as much cash as Man City's owner because his Sheffieldness wouldn't allow him to
