With them being deep in the brown stuff apparently a few of their players ready to jump ship in Jan, I don't know much about their squad (apart from the don!) but are there any worth a nose?

Controversial but Ameobi. I haven’t watched them that much but when I have, he’s looked decent.

Ameobi would be the obvious one, if he can make the switch to a more central attacking mid role. Was injured earlier in the season, not sure if he's fit again.

He fits the Wilder bill perfectly in terms of being British and a known commodity. Could be in our price range. There's worse shouts

Josh Vela's contract is expiring. But he seems to have gone downhill. Maybe needs a new start, but would more likely turn out to be another Leonard/Lundstram.

I'd take Ameobi all day long. Has the sort of unpredictability and ability to change a game that Brooks has, which we haven't replaced. Also versatile and left footed. It would be interesting to see him playing for someone other than Bolton.

Only Ameobi I would have thought, but his goal scoring record is not that great, would like someone with a better goals to games ratio.

Ameobi for me.
Not sure Oztumer is good enough for this level, although starting your championship career in that team must be a slog.

Vela has the ability but isn't playing anywhere near the level he was 2 years ago. He's also meant to be a tw@t which i doubt will impress CW. Brum are apparently interested so perhaps they're likely to lose players as well.....

Ameobi has done a ankle ligament hasn’t he? Injured more often than not, not one for me.

well im pretty sure if they remain unpaid then there will be no fire sale as they will have grounds to rip up their own contracts and find new clubs

Never nearly stops em, have standards improved?

No, but yours have dropped :-)

I posted a while back about a mate who is involved on the legal side at Wanderers, but is awar of the financial situation and several months ago he indiscreetly said he didn’t see how they could get past Christmas without additional funds.

The players haven’t been paid for November yet, it does make you wonder.....

I've been dragged down Trig, they've finally got me

Next thing i'll be dropping my grammar and asking wear the moneys gone

None. Ameobi is a good league one player nowhere near our level currently.

The only Duffy role type player in this league that would give Duff a go for his money is Luke Freeman. If he is available expext all the leagues big hitters in for him.

Wouldnt want anyone from there. We dont need squad filler. We need quality. The only thing anyone from there would improve would be our substitute options for the U23s.
