Upton Park. FA Cup rules meant West Ham had to wear the away kitWent to Blades vs hammers at the lane late sixties, Willie Carlin scrambled up Hurst's back and had his shirt in bits.
No way to treat a bloke who scored a hat trick in a World Cup final.
Is that the Lane ? Can't seem to recall the flats.
Like the picture of woody. A young steve ludlam I think admiring a legend.
From the kit, I'd say that was season 1976-77Looking at that photo of Woody makes me think it must have been taken toward the end of his career with us.

TC leaves another player on his arse.
versus Leeds. Take a pick of seasons - 1964/65 or 1965/66 or 1966/67. Doubt it's 1967/68.

Top grade Python for those of us old enough.
YesThat must be the final goal in the 5-0 thrashing of Blackburn at the start of the 70/71 promotion run-in.
Ted Hemsley’s missed penalty in the same game hit me and my friends on the Kop and we weren’t standing at the front, either.
Conditions were fairly attritional, as the picture shows.
