Anyone know who it is?

Hopefully someone who knows how to handle a derby match and not a graduate from the School of Rob Styles

Worra barht Colin. He's a qualified ref so he tell's us. He could handle the type of atmosphere.
Not be like battle of Towton with him in charge. No, not at all.

Come on Blades.

They haven't been announced yet.

I thought it said on Radio Pitsmoor last week that he'll be out 'injured'? So that'd be all three derbies he's mysteriously missed...

That's the line from their manager mate but he seems to tell a few porkies so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the slimy fucker in that squad come 7pm Friday.

Just hope whoever has the job is wise to to the antics of that sneaky, malicious, diving little arsewipe who they all jizz over.
Was confirmed last week by Jos Lookukukuhayarkahy that he won`t be ready to play until after the internetional break.

Yeah but I am not entirely convinced by that. Dom Howson also said he was back in full training last week and Jos seems to be in the habit of contradicting himself lately.

Is that Kettle fella still reffing ?
He is.

Premier League matches are done first from the select group referees. Those in select group not on Premier League are then given EFL games. The rest of the Championship games are allocated from what are known as Select Group 2 officials. The rest of S2 are then allocated to the other EFL games before the remainder of the EFL officials are given games in L1 and L2.

Mr Kettle is not in Select or Select 2 (he was at Blackpool v Bristol Rovers on Saturday). I don't think Deadman is on any list at the moment (not had a game this season as yet anyway).

The weekly officials are announced on a Tuesday morning.

Seeing that he is only rejoining training this week after a significant time out, then I can`t see him being ready for playing any part of a game of Friday`s intensity.

I heard Graham Poll has dug his whistle out and is giving it a polish ;)

I think he said he was back in last week but I suppose we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if they stick him on the bench, if he is capable of playing for half an hour. No point bringing him on if they are getting tonked but in a tight 0-0 at 70 minutes....

Yes, that`s the only scenario I can see.

Sheffield United v Sheffield Wednesday (19:45 )
ANDREW MADLEY
Assistant Referee: Steven Meredith and Robert Merchant
Fourth Official : Robert Jones

Always seemed decent enough to me. Must be a horrible game to ref though, I don't envy the bloke.
