If it doesn't meet one of Sinclairs strict criteria, he wont be playing it. All tracks played at BDTBL must be either:
* At LEAST 30 years old.
* On the Radio 2 playlist.
* His mate recorded it and he’s giving them a free plug.
Anybody notice the turgid misery he trotted out at half time against Hull? I understand people might like that type of thing; I’m not knocking the song per se, but its hardly the time and place is it? Surely the point of playing music before KO and at HT is to get the crowd going and pump up the atmosphere? It’s not like there are no up and coming local bands he could be giving some airtime to is it? But that might take a bit more effort than looking through Northern Soul compilations and listening to Radio 2 in the car.
