Team entry music

Somebody on here linked with the club liked this idea, they played it before last nights game at about 19:35. Sounded awesome but too early as the ground was still filling up. Bang this out when the teams come out instead of Kasabian, it sends a shiver down the spine, especially at full volume.
It isn't this one, although it's very similar, it's the one I've I said before, Hearts of courage.

If it doesn't meet one of Sinclairs strict criteria, he wont be playing it. All tracks played at BDTBL must be either:
* At LEAST 30 years old.
* On the Radio 2 playlist.
* His mate recorded it and he’s giving them a free plug.

Anybody notice the turgid misery he trotted out at half time against Hull? I understand people might like that type of thing; I’m not knocking the song per se, but its hardly the time and place is it? Surely the point of playing music before KO and at HT is to get the crowd going and pump up the atmosphere? It’s not like there are no up and coming local bands he could be giving some airtime to is it? But that might take a bit more effort than looking through Northern Soul compilations and listening to Radio 2 in the car.
ive been saying for ages his choice of music is fucking wank " ha ha great song there by local shit band,it really is. dont forget my grab a granny bar in town" youve only go to look at the shite he has playing at his bar, he was advertising a non dancing set by some bloke from boy on a dolphin FUCKING BOY ON A DOLPHIN!!!! a band that havent been relavent since 1987.

but the powers wont do anything as hes reyt up the arses of the management at SUFC

ACDC Thunderstruck.

Was gonna say the same. Its a no brainer. Anything else wouldn't be as good.

The present tune is pants though, would almost prefer Star Wars!

Any classical tunes like what was suggested in the OP don't seem fitting in Sheffield. We're not Real Madrid, something pumping would be great.

Why not get THOR- God's of Rock, to perform before kick off and at half time!??
Really looking forward to their Halloween Spectacular at the Embassy ont 27th!!

As in the Working Men's club group?! No thanks but they're decent at the level they're at. The lead singer is a Pig fan too!

Don't agree. The first time I heard Sunderland coming out to Prokofiev's Dance of the Knights, it made the hairs on my neck stand up. As far as I'm concerned, it's the best entrance music I've heard at any ground.

I wish they'd drop it completely. What can be more rousing and adrenalin stimulating than the roar of the crowd? However, because we've had entrance music for so long, I suspect leaving it off would leave the sound of polite clapping.

Maybe just start GCB early? Although kick off wouldn't quite be the same

Well that also goes to the debate about whether we need Mr S to start us off anyway - which has been discussed several times on here. Away fans seem to manage ok without him.....
