I like it, I feel sauced up looking at it and aint even sniffed one. its also a bit unique, bit like that dodgy upside down plane stamp!

Might be worth a bob or two in a few hundred years!

I bet GallonofMagnet will be disappointed too, sells quality stuff so I'm sure something can be done.

Appreciate the common sense in that reply.

I've got the Duffy badge off them which is awesome, but seeing that, puts me off ordering a shirt from them. Thanks for the heads-up, and I hope you get a refund/replacement.

Please don’t let it. That’s how these things work... If the other 100+ happy customers posted images you’d realise that. It’s a human error - it happens. I do all this on my own to the best of my ability and I certainly wouldn’t have sent it out had I spotted it.

It’s just a shame WhiteHawk didn’t give me a chance to apologise and rectify the issue by contacting me first directly, rather than publishing photos on here and twitter, which unfairly puts people off.

And to be very fair to GallonofMagnet, on the caring and 'customer service' front I'd mentioned a postman knackering my Duffy badge on the forum - absolutely not his fault....

He PM'd me first of all offering to fix it and then later offering to send me another as he'd managed to find a 'spare'.

Sadly, I probably appeared rude in not responding, but this was months ago and I only saw his PM the other day :D

GallonofMagnet will you ever be doing a 93/94 or 95/97 away kit replica?

There’s not really a market for shirts that can be picked up in original from from eBay and the like. Maybe at some point further down the line.

And there’s no need to create more of the monstrous away kit mentioned

"That's how these things work" is simply not good enough.

However, I'm sure one negative post won't have an impact, you'll still continue to sell out of the stuff you do. But if people are prepared to spend this much money on something then they have a right to know there's a chance that they could end up with something that they might aswell just throw straight in the bin. You can't accept all the positive reviews but then complain when you get a negative one.

I have no complaints with the no refund policy due to it being a bespoke product, and a credit note will be pointless as I won't use it so it looks like I'm just going to have to take this one on the chin.

I'm genuinely gutted, I was really looking forward to getting this shirt and it really is excellent, but the badge is horrendous.

Why not just contact me prior to jumping to the conclusion that I can not resolve the issue to your satisfaction?

In the unlikely event that I can’t, then, and only then, would I be understanding of a “negative review”.

You are inadvertently and unfairly reviewing not only the shirt, but the follow-up customer service that you are actually yet to seek.

Mine is great. I had the original as a nipper and it’s one our best shirts so I’m well happy. It’s so nice to see stripes, actual proper stripes, on the arms. . . And back for that matter.

Whilst we're having a go at GallonofMagnet - I bought 2 Tony Currie badges and you only sent 1 !!
I forgot to tell you 2 months ago.

True story ^^^

Don't sweat it though, it's only a badge.

I got my 81 home and away shirts this week, and they are acers and skill. Unfortunately, I've put some weight on over the summer since ordering, so the stripes now outline the parabolic curve of my gut nicely.

I’ve got a similar problem. Must be a design fault thought I. Then I realised I’m just a bit fatter than I like to think I am.

I was kindly bought an away shirt by a friend. He got my measurements slightly wrong, and it's tight, but never mind. Since it popped through my letter box, i've been wearing it & dancing. Proper dancing like......

This is the best United shirt in my supporting lifetime. Well the best in the shirt sponsor era anyway.
