The extra day prep for tonight is irrelevant because Blackburn have also had an extra days prep, so it’s equal.
However on Saturday Hull City will have had 3 days rest,where as our team only has 2 days rest.

Wilder’s point is that this isn’t equal.... Hull have an advantage and says it some situations the difference between 2 days and 3 days rest can be significant.

But in fairness it’s just the luck of the draw....Sky TV forces some teams to play Friday or Sundays and some clubs play mid week cup games...so rest days are often not fair and equal.

Wilder obviously thinks it’s an issue seeing as he’s complained about it.

We haven’t had an extra day tonight anyway as we’ve had the same as Blackburn. The issue is on Saturday when we play Hull and they’ve had an extra day because they played last night.

I think he’ll fool us second half, and move. Then we’ll score!

We always seem to start well, as Wilder says playing on the front foot, generally dominating every 1st half we play.
However the 2nd half’s are usually more evenly matched and we seem to look tired near the end.

Hope I’m wrong and we can stay focused pushing for the win.
Blackburn look a bit demoralised as though they can’t get their game going, let’s hope it stays that way.

This does feel scarily similar to the Bristol City game a few weeks ago. We start brightly and dominate possession but fail to muster convincing efforts in goal. Second half they gradually claw their way back in to it and snatch a winner, we don't look remotely like equalising... prove me wrong Blades prove me wrong!
