What Wilder has done here is good honest management. In the first two games of the season, with Evans and Lundsram in the center of midfield, it was obvious they were nowhere near good enough. Wilder has seen the problem and addressed it. Evans (and Leonard) are gone, Lundstram is now nowhere near the team and we have better players. Sure he has taken a punt with some new signings but if they don't work out, then off they go, and seemingly for a profit! No fuckwittery of the Adkins / Clough era treating the fans and board like idiots. He has made some mistakes and then took action to put them right. Shame we couldn't bring in a proven quality striker but who could have, for the cash at his disposal? Nonetheless, If he can persuade someone to sign Lundstram for a profit in January then I'll stoop down and kiss his arse!
