Do you honestly think every good player performs well absolutely everywhere they go? Imagine the views on Leon Clarke before we signed him. I'd take Jota from Birmingham in a heartbeat and Brum fans absolutely hate him right now.

Nobody seems to have much of an idea where this Johnson plays, but sounds like a winger to me, which I find pointless.

Must have been a different Marvin Johnson I watched regularly play left back for Oxford then as you obviously know better.

Regularly playing left-back and being any good in that role are a bit different. Matt Done and Jordan Stewart could both claim to have been regular left-backs at stages of their careers...

Bryan's been brought in to primarily cover/compete with JOC. Pretty sure when we signed the lad Wilder mentioned something about the amount of games JOC played last season and how it important it is that we've now got him covered.
