Norrington Davies SP? Anyways the young welsh left wing back was supposed to leave on loan, yet Wilder has kept him. This either indicates that the Johnson move happened too late for him to be moved on, or Wilder rates him.
Either way I note Wilders comments and believe that he intends playing him up front to stretch teams in ver6 much the same way that he wanted to use Thomas.

Delighted to see Marv sign for the Blades. I'm a Kidderminster Harriers fan, first and foremost, but developed a liking for the red and white side of Sheffield over the past three years as a student in the city.

Marv was always a little frustrating - poor work ethic when he was with us, excelled though in his position of the pendulum role - free rein behind the forward/s, but also played out wide. Very much attack-minded.

Come on leaps and bounds since he was with us and more adept in the role of a marauding left sided WB. I can see him being a good option at LWB, if perhaps a little lacking defensively, but don't rule out seeing him in Duffy's role behind the forwards.

Hopefully I'll be seeing him in red and white again some time soon!

If he can play the “pendulum” role he’ll fit in well here. Loads of swingers in Sheff.

Well it looks like we had the attack right on Saturday, but we still conceded when we tried to sit back and defend. maybe because we didn't have an out ball until speedy Washington came on.
Perhaps Johnson is another one to play when we decide to go defensive ?
