I am assuming he was ejected on the grounds of racism due his attire rather than the placard?

Bellend.

Reyt argumentative cunt.

Saw him in boozer before, I said " you don't like the Prince then?".

He replied " are you saying you fucking do? He's a wanker get shut and anybody that thinks differently can fuck off"

"Whatever pal, let's leave it there, enjoy the game prick"

Prince never to be king

Good way to start the season with a stadium ban.

Wonder if he bought a season ticket.

Shit, better remember never to wear my shemagh to a game ever again. Does this mean that Arabs aren't allowed to wear bowler hats and carry umbrellas for the same reason?

I think he was ejected for nicking all the bog roll from the Kop toilets.

Seriously, was he thrown out? What happened to free speech and the right to protest?

McCabe should be reprimanded for whipping the fans up against the prince.

Well there’s free speech and how you go about it. For instance you could quite rightly put a case forward that Leon Clarke should be dropped.

Another matter if you do it whilst blacked up like Al Jolson.

We no longer have free speech. And I think he was thrown out for 'cultural appropriation'. Although I thought bog rolls were universal.

He was thrown out it was right in front of me. Police were around and about as well so he may well have been arrested.

To be fair he could argue in today's heat it wasn't culturally inappropriate it was environmentally a necessity

If he was arrested for that the world has gone mad. House robberies are up 20% and the police do fuck all to catch the smack head bastards (I know I was robbed at Christmas last year), it's pathetic. What happened to police arresting real criminals? Maybe it gets in their way of sitting in McDonalds.

It’s a privately owned football ground... not a public area. There are conditions of entry on your ticket; shouting McCabe Out or Prince Out would be fine but if you dress up with a tea towel on your head don’t be surprised if you get turfed out... and no it’s not an oppression of white men.

If he was arrested, I very much doubt it was for wearing the tea towel and holding up a prince out sign. I’m guessing there was more to it than that e.g. getting mouthy, abusive or aggressive. But I didn’t see it, so I’m just speculating.

This incident happened in a venue with police presence, generally house robbers have the sense to not do it in front of police officers, therefore making it harder to make an arrest! I’m sure the police would make an arrest if they are present at a house robbery, like they were present to arrest this bloke with a tea towel on his head.

The official reason he would have got chucked out would be because he breached the stadium rules. Persistent standing, being loud/abusive, obstructing view of other fans, all of these things can get you ejected from the stadium. In reality, it was probably because he was turning up to mock the co-owner of the club at a random time (first day of the season after a great transfer window and an unbeaten pre-season? Alright mate) and on his own.

His views clearly do not represent the majority of the fans. If it was a group of people with a solid, consistent message, that reflected what the fans thought, then it would be a different matter. One mad, gobby knobhead on his own? Jog on.

It's not the most sensible thing to turn up to private property and directly insult the owner, and he or his representatives reserve the right to void his ticket at any point. Any speculation that this is somehow about racism or a free speech issue is a bizarrely long stretch to say the least.

He deserves to be chucked out.

Not for narrow-mindedness or generally being a toss pot per se...

...but more for that pathetically small sign and embarrassing attempt at a protest.

Si thi, soft lad.
