Moore was quality today however Henderson comes with a big reputation. Also think it’s a toss up between Evans and Lundstrum

The problem was they were just running through the midfield ,no way will we see Lundstram-Duffy-Holmes again in the middle. As soon as Evans came on we bossed the middle and the threat vanished. A bit worrying the amount of free headers from set pieces though.

I would swap Freeman for Baldock and have Lundstram instead of Evans - after tonight not sure of the keeper but a nice problem to have !

Despite fervent protestations to the contrary, there’s every chance they’ll be in the team together. Tufty rates both very highly. Of course Egan can play RCB, and quite likely he will.

No way can you have Lundstram instead of Evans ,there will be a massive hole in the middle and not enough creativity and Baldock shades it for me ,don't think Freeman is quite at it yet.

Personally prefer Baldock at this moment in time, he offers more going forward with his extra pace. And freeman just doesn’t look fit at the minute

I would certainly think about 4-5-1 at some of the big away games next season.

You could then get Stearman and Egan in the middle of defence, JOC at left back Baldock at right back and push Bash into midfield to strengthen things up there.

Need a powerful forward to play one top though.

Should have played that last night if pre-season games are about experimentation. 4-4-2 should be kept as an option for the coming season, i.e. when we are under the cosh instead of hanging on to a rigid 3-5-2 when it's not effective. Wasted opportunity.
