LWB is not solely Stevens. You may not think much of Lafferty, but he's still here and in my view (and I believe CW's) he is a useful member of the squad.
I do think it's worth trying Freeman at LWB. He's played there before. Would be good to see if it works with both Baldock and Freeman together because they are both very good players.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure Freeman has played LWB a few times before and would like to see him in the side but not at the expense of Baldock although, if we were likely to see this the pre-season friendlies would have been an ideal time to try it I would have thought.

He's good but he's not 'splashhalfyourbudget' good, so I firstly hope it is the apparent £1.5mil plus add-ons to take it to £4mil - or if it IS somehow £4mil upfront that we have a very healthy budget to sign 2 strikers and a Brooks type as well as a LWB on loan.

Certainly improves us instantly though, that's for certain
