You can't predicting the entire season from three games, really. I didn't notice you on Sunday telling us all we had 4pts from 2 games, therefore 92 points and promotion.

Leicester played well, we played poorly. Take the point, and move on to the next game...

We've played poorly for one half of our league season so far. I think you are a little premature here beighton.

To answer your points

1.) We've spend nearly £4 Million so far this season. More than most in the division.
2.) Blackwells record is a steady league improvement year on year.
3.) Based on what? You can throw all sorts of names round of who we should of bought, but I distinctly remember the same sort of fuss before we signed Howard. People saying just the same sort of stuff about how he'd be the missing piece etc. The same was said about O'Toole before he came on loan.
Hindsight is always 20/20 and the fact that fans clambering for us to sign player that never make are soon forgotten.

If things like wages and signing on fees have to be taken into consideration when we're talking about transfer spendings, so does the amount of money we've got in...

When the reality is McCabe has released £4 Million so far. How the money is spend isn't in McCabes remit. Incidentally there was an additional £3.5 Million on the table for the Lita deal so the money seems to be available if the players are.

I wouldn't worry about the alzhiemers, at least you get to meet new people everyday. Shame it doesn't seem to make you forget all the anti-United stuff.

Well signing on fees aren't recouped when you sell a player.
Plus as I posted above the £4 Million on players (not included signing on fees) plus the £3.5 Million on the table for the Lita deal comes to very close to the money recouped.

But your making assumptions that McCabe somehow has money that he's hiding away and unwilling to spend on the team - shouldn't you be the one not 'making assumptions'.

As much as it pains us all, we have missed big chnaces in 06/07 and 08/09 to make us secure for a long time to come, as such we HAVE to cut our cloth or risk the implications.

Don't assume we're holding back loads of cash, we're not, we have a little to spend but not much more - if your looking for a scapegoat i'd talk to a certain Mr Bryan Robson.

Beighton, McCabe has made £4 Million available. How that is spent isn't upto him, thats the managers job.

But you can't say £4 Million isn't enough to get some quality.

Blackwell's finishing positions have improve season on season, you can't say that improving year on year is not doing your job.

My assumption was based on the fact that £3.5 Million was on the table for Lita to sign. If that had been budgeted for it doesn't just disappear, it may be an assumption but its a fair one. Where as your's have little to back them up at all, stating silly things like McCabe hasn't made money available when he obviously has.

You answer you're own questions as you argue, BB has mentioned scouting.....There are hidden gems, and yes we seem to buy cheap as chips, as BB has stated.....it's like panic buying. We have quality within our team, but we sell that quality to make money.

I understand we have to sell blah blah blah, but if we have this ambition that Mccabe says we have, why not spend that little extra to keep people. Or find replacements of their calabre.....are you really suggesting a 3 mil player like Ched is on less that Naughton?

I hardly know anything, but I can see where BB is coming from.
