Jessica Ennis - But is she or isn't she?

Whether she is or not - we've had quite a few local sports stars invited to the Lane, so I hope someone from the club delivers an invite for her to bring the gold medal for a lap of the pitch at a home game.

Not just a great winning athlete, but quite a babe too. :D
 
Being just a little less ambiguous in your starting thread would be a massive help. Who is it you are referring to? Michael Palin? Sarah Palin? Monkey, as in that Japanese fella with the massive bugger's grips? Monkey off of tea bags? Did I miss something when I went for a half-time piss and crafty cigarette?

I've heard from someone at the messy sauce station that she thinks the catering at the Lane is spot on. FACT

She'd probably be our best looking celeb fan n'all.
Just seen the only bloke faster than our Kyle on the telly as well.

OK,the question was is Jess Ennis a Blade! If I want obscure cryptics I get my Guardian crossword rather than come on here.

As far as I'm aware, I'm sure I read somewhere that she doesn't have any interest in football at all!
 
Can she play centre mid? Can she pass a ball? Give her a call KB, she's got more spirit than anyone we saw at Wembley in May and she can do it on the big occasions

I seem to remember reading that her fella is a Blade and she therefore follows our fortunes. Na na na na...

Can't seem to get edit to work on my phone so excuse 2nd post. Definitely a Blade. Times article of august 07 confirms it. Grew up in highfields

Hmm...not bad but i reckon Charlie Webster raises the bar and she`s deffo a Blade........would love to post a pic but i cant work out my URL`s from my Http`s.......:)

It could have been written on the dark side of the moon. I wasn't a BU user or an astronaut, and therefore I wouldn't know what the hell the post was about.

Not all of us on here are ex-BU posters.
 
B-Friend's definitely a blade - Andy used to play for the pub team in Totley I helped to run a couple of years ago,and Jess used to come along to watch every now and again.

A really nice person,who after missing out on the olympics last year,deserved success.All the best to her...
 
I got the Palin bit of the comment earlier in the thread - Which I am pretty sure the answer is 'Blade' as I have a Monty Python album that has refference to Sheffield United and the Blades badge on the inside cover.

Monkey - I can only assume this is Arctic Monkeys and not A: The martial arts based series from many years ago or B: Clyde from Any which way but lose (Not a monkey I know). TBH I don't think any of the line up now are blades, the only one who was left.

Going for tenuous links - Hows about 'Is Bolt a Blade' because we have signed Williamson and he is from the same country as Bolt? :D
 
Verrry nice, i tried to upload the one of her wearing a white dress looking extremely alluring, how do you upload from your pc ?.
 
You have to 'go advanced' at the bottom of the message box and then click the attachment button (one with the paper clip icon) then do the business in another window that appears!
