There's worse problems to have!I bet Jamal is gutted he's not coming back. He seemed to enjoy it here and had a rapport with the fans and probably assumed it was nailed on he'd come back. He's now going to have to find a new club to go on loan to or fester in Chelseas squad
Mental not to pay the 2.5m.
One or two good seasons and he'd be worth 10m+
Decent goalkeepers are hard to find these days. Stoke are gonna get 30m for Butland ffs.
If it’s VFTJS assume it’s moaning about something again?
Got to admit Blackman was good at coming for crosses but so many times got beaten from long range and let in soft goals.
A top goalkeeper can get you 10 points a season. Henderson hopefully is that man.
I remember when we signed Blackman and everyone moaned saying only league two bla bla.

When you barely have £2.5 m to spend on a striker it’s not mental to refuse to spend that on a keeper when you’ve already got a competent one.
Wilder’s played his cards right imo.
And the £1.2m a year wages.Blackman for me is the best keeper we’ve had since Kenny. If it was up to me we’d have paid the 2.5m to bring him in permanently, but with Henderson being available for a loan deal perhaps it made more sense. It’s a tough one

Blackman was excellent, i rate him very highly and he's still very young. I'd expect that Chelsea may want him to get different experience and maybe even keep him at the club this season.
Henderson, i'd expect to challenge Moore in a similar way this season
Yeah and reading his twitter it seems that Henderson is Relishing the opportunityIf Henderson's half as good as his reputation suggests there won't be much challenge with Moore. In a way I feel a bit sorry for Moore; he's a capable keeper but he's not quite good enough.
I don't feel 'sorry' for him, but I take your point. It's hard to be on that cusp of top league one, lower champ quality, especially when there's only 70-odd GK spots up and down the football league. If Henderson's half as good as his reputation suggests there won't be much challenge with Moore. I tend to agree. To be a good keeper you have to be able to command your area. That’s the difference between a good one and an average one. If you can’t stop shots, you’re not really cut out to be a keeper.I don't feel 'sorry' for him, but I take your point. He isn't good enough though, you are right. Have to be able to come and get crosses, cannot just be a shot stopper.
Where has the valuation of 2.5 million come from?
these are unreliable numbers...until somebody writes 'FACT' after them.Someone mentioned it on here as what they think we could get him for so therefore it’s become gospel, a bit like the £20m Wilder apparently has to spend.
View from John Street is claiming that’s what Chelsea want for him.Where has the valuation of 2.5 million come from?
