Sky Sports carrying highlights of every Championship game, nearly 4 minutes from ours. Very useful, I hadn't got a clue what was happening up the other end

Made me feel very old to read people on other forums talking excitedly about the singing the 'new', slow version of 'Oh when the Blades go marching in'. I can remember singing it for 45 minutes at Boundary Park in the early 90s.

And 90 minutes at Swindon. A terrible, terrible, 0-0 draw, but the singing was fantastic. So much so, that a Swindon fan on the way out said 'Dreadful game, great singing from you lot'.

I'm a sprightly 23 and have never known a season where it hasn't been chanted.

This makes me think that they are no so much young but new themselves

It sounded as if the final whistle was met by a chorus of boos from the Boro fans. Is that right? I know we're known as 'demanding', but I don't think even we would boo the team off for drawing the first game of the season!
