Not sure what the 'neutral terrority' stuff is about but it's certainly not Switzerland.

Let's hope they can sort this state out and be united again.

Meeting in The Carlton PH down 'cliffe, 7leg darts match, winner gets to sack Wilder, loser goes across the road to a sandwich shop and buys lunch.

Sorted.

The two parties meet on neutral ground.

After 5 weeks of talks they can't reach an agreement.

In the meantime, Allardyce has gone to Sunderland, Moore confirmed at West Brom, Stoke have appointed Tony Adams and Coleman at Swansea.

Wilder stuck with us and isn't a happy bunny.

I heard they're meeting at th Twin Oaks Hotel at Jnc 29 M1, they rent rooms by the hour and can provide certain extras.....

McCabe was quoted on here as saying it should be sorted Ina couple of weeks. Maybe it's sign on the dotted line time?
It won't be, but a sensible interim arrangement is in both their interests as they need to maintain the value of the principle assest whilst they sort out their differences.

Neither of them will want to end up with a League 1 club at the end of the legal process.

Clearly McCabe has a had a 'change of heart' since agreeing the deal for Princey to take over...the problem is getting Princey to fuck off when McCabe has promised him the club.

Are they looking for volunteers to assist in banging their heads to together?

I could make myself available

If one - take your pick - "refused" to match the others spending, then it's highly unlikely that they'll be willing to chuck money into a pot for the other one to spend. Imo anyway.

So if McCabe is the one wanting to buy out the Prince, has he got another investor waiting in the wings?
Can't see him moving from his austerity stance to buying out the Prince, then doubling his financial input to cover the losses, nevermind increasing the transfer / wages budget.

I always believed the original agreement was that McCabe wrote off the debt in the form of his loans to the club & in return the prince would provide the investment ?
He also came out with a statement a while ago saying something along the lines of i need to remind my partner of his obligations which you would have thought was get your hand in your pocket which hasn’t been forthcoming .

Don’t get me wrong I’m sure Mr McCabes PR dept.could put whatever spin on this they want., the problem being it sounds like there’s a buy out clause with Prince to purchase the club though it would appear McCabe seems to point at this would only happen if Prince met his terms in the agreement .

I just wish so do e would come along & buy em both out as I can see this as a long , protracted & damaging affair .. we don’t do plain sailing do we !

And that's the question. If you're right. It's Armageddon even with his supporters.

Transferred around £37m of debt to equity. £10m in shares to match the Princes initial cash injections the rest in a share premium account ( which as things stand counts for little).

Both will have had but out closes as that would be normal in an SA.

At the shareholders meeting McCabe was asked about the Princes investment and he said it would be wrong to quote actual figures, but the Prince had provided all the funding that had been agreed.

He must have another investor lined up, as I can't see him doing all that additional investment on his own having already pulled the plug out once before.
And like you say, that situation would be Armaggedon and would probably see Wilder off instantly.

Thanks ST , reading between the lines for an experienced businessman McCabe seems to have shot himself in foot with his dealings with the Prince & reading yourself & FB comments will be a complex & expensive buy out when he was supposed to be movingly away from investing in the club

The. summat is 'expected to take place on neutral territory'

Talk about over dramatising things. In other words a London hotel because it's just easier for all concerned.

Needs sorting though and sharpish, wherever the fuck they sit down.
Switzerland .. this is serious ;)

Hmm that’s interesting FB , ii can’t remember when it was McCabe made the ineed to remind my partner of his obligations comment , would have been interesting to our see the time line between that and the shareholder meeting

Why don’t that have a game of Fortnite to decide the ownership?

Because they're not ten year old boys, or forty year old men pretending to be ten year old girls.

Best outcome is that McCabe fucks off the prince and then gets other interested investors in who are willing to cough up. It’s McCabe’s fuck up in the first place.

If McCabe walks would the Prince spend anything, looks unlikely. Unless McCabe wins this one we’ll definitely lose the manager if we haven’t lost him already

He was very happy to quote figures 2 years ago when asked...

“Rest assured, our position is not a result of lack of effort, investment or ambition from the owners - my family’s investment over the years amounts to around £90m and Prince Abdullah has in a short space of time contributed a further £15m. In this season alone, the joint owners have, in total, put in £8m of money.”

Maybe the real and visible progress on the pitch has changed his mind?

The Club's income has increased massively since CW took over 2 years ago.
Average attendances up by 7,000 to 27,000 on increased gate prices.
Extra prize money from The Championship and increased TV revenue (1/3 of our games were on Sky apparently).
Fringe players who have a transfer value and could be sold to raise extra funds if required rather than being paid to leave.
Star players (e.g. Brooks) who could be sold to provide a large transfer kitty if Wilder decides it's in the best interests of the team.

I would be confident of Wilder making us competitive at the top end of the Championship again next season.
Even if McCabe and the Prince only agreed to continue providing funding at their current levels, while they sort the ownership issue out.
Wilder is more than capable of generating his own funds and managing to a budget as he always has done.
But only if he knows what that budget is. That's the main issue that needs to be resolved either at or preferably before this meeting.

The main income increase is last season. And price increases mainly this. Irrespective of the lack of a truly competitive budget, the club has lost money right up to 2017.

The notion that the club can pay for itself at the minute is a non starter player budget wise is a non starter. It HAS to be via additional share investment ( or less likely huge sponsorship deals). Which obviously brings us to where we are now. In the dark about all of it.
