Remember the huge furore in the Fat Cat years ago when they had a vegetarian Pale Rider on.

Confused plenty, myself included tbf at first, but watching the colour drain from a few veggie types as it dawned on them that most beer wasn't strictly vegetarian when told of fish finings was mildly amusing

I hope that’s not true. Just staying up was his minimum requirement so a steady bottom half season would have been ok.

Obviously on top of survival we had a genuine promotion push, some cracking football, a very small number of no-shows, and the shaming of our local rivals.
