We’ve really been spoiled this year what with Edna, Lunny, Evans, Bash, Clarke, Wilson, Stearman, Moore, Blackman The Don, Ched(?) , Wright, Henneghan (who?) , Lafferty, Leonard, Holmes, Samir and that old perennial, Billy Sharp!

So come on, let’s have em in, who is your favourite scapegoat of 2017/18?

P.S- Apologies if I’ve missed anyone, please feel free to add your own favourite goat....

Wilder the clueless cunt.

And the wankers in the boardroom.

And the fans as a whole, who don't deserve promotion.

And the club as a whole for sending representatives into schools to coach kids, the rape apologist bastards.

I'm going for Blackman, clearly a fantastic keeper, so naturally to blame for letting those shots being taken from outside of the box all season.

Useless. ;)

Not at all sure anyone has been consistently rhubarb enough to claim this prestigious end of season award.

Sharp probably just about edges. Both in terms of fans views and Wilders seeming lack of faith. Although Enda seems to be making a late dash for the line / title !!

They don’t need to be consistently ‘rhubarb’ to win it...two or three games could do the trick...often the first two or three games the player plays for the club... ;)

I thought you meant GOATs in the American sense. As good as they are I doubt any of our lot would qualify.

Stearman is amazing just for the fact he's managed to trick everyone into thinking he's better than Jake Wright.

Yes, his technique is beautiful when he's passing it side to side along the back line before they are forced into playing it back to the goalie but really he's a step backwards.

We have a winner.

Well by default the winner has to be Wilder himself for not listening to the Shakey Jakeys and bringing someone in who was not past it, too slow and only good enough for L1.

I'd say the fans. Discrase to the club all season, I can't think why just now but I'll come up with something.

Oh and Billy Sharp .... The goal scoring blades supporting bastard.

True. Stearman was nowhere to be seen when United conceded damaging goals v Cardiff and Millwall at home. Nowhere.

See what you did there Danny, you cheeky boy. Can tell you're a journalist.

I hate the scapegoating of players, but from where I sit, I don't think any of the players have been particularly singled out yet. Certainly not in the same league as when McEveley was here. I think the nearest we've got are a few 'murmurs' for Enda and Lunny.
