I know why we'll claim that we can't release the price - because other clubs will bump their prices up making negotiations more difficult. But I don't buy into that, if we released the price everyone knows the playing field.

All our deals seem to be undisclosed in or out, its probably a policy of ours

to be fair, most clubs now hide the figure behind the "undisclosed fee" statement. you watch SSN and its constantly "undisclosed". I expect the papers, media etc who have all being touting a figure in the region of £8-£11 million are somewhere close. Though with youngsters like these 2 it will be near impossible to work out using the accounts. It definately wont be a fat lump sum of £8million. I reckon its more likely to be a good solid amount up front say £5-6 million and the rest will depend on appearances, national call ups etc.....

I also think that with us taking Walker back on loan its unlikely we'll achieve £11mil.

I hate the undisclosed stuff its shady and sneaky. Thats not uniteds fault, like I say all clubs do it, i just wish there was more transparency.

It saves clubs getting egg on their face....
