Chris , I luv yer , but ffs play Brooks from the start , its hard to come on all the time and to get up to the speed of the ball when you coming off the bench all the time , we were at home , we should have gone at them from the start and if we gained a lead then tried to protect it , why do we always start with the same line up then bring Brooks on !!! Should have gone from it from the start today !

Chris has said multiple times Brooks isn’t fit enough to start and that’s a medical issue. The football issue from today is that Brooks was garbage. He came on lost the ball appealed for fouls and then bother didn’t tracking back.

Feel like he needs a perfect surface sometimes too. It just didn't run right today.

Like I said its hard to come off the bench and get up to speed with the game, or didn't you read that , you cant expect him to change a game every time he comes off the bench , as for Brooks was garbage , bet you weren't saying that the last match !

I did read all your point. You suggested Brooks needs to be starting to impact games more. Wilder has said he can’t due to health whats to get? I didn’t say Brooks had a shocker on Tuesday because he didn’t have a shocker. Today he did have a shocker so I did say it.

Bit strange to say he had a shocker on Tuesday based on him having one today.

Should he also say he had an excellent impact today based on Tuesday?

Alright you right , I am wrong, lets all be happy with a 0-0 , we have done well consolidating in this league !

Might as well flog Brooks like the rest of all our star players , and carry on buying Div 2 players like we have always done .

Brooksy was poor today and just didn't seem interested. I M H O.
Oh well we move on and see what happens?.
It's been a fantastic first season back in the championship no matter what happens.
Onwards and upwards for the blades.
COYRAWW.

No he didn't, he said Brooks couldn't do 90 minutes. He actually said he could start and then come off after 60 minutes on Liverpool's I mean doctors orders.

Some of Brooks' best performances have been from the bench, as opposed to some of those he's started where he's not had the same impact.. He's a 19 year old kid learning his trade, the manager thinks that's in short spells from the bench (9 out of 10 times CW is right in that assessment), unless Brooks proves otherwise then Wilder is currently correct in what he's doing.

Never mind Brooksie, thought Clarke had a poor game too....could have had a couple of goals if he put he foot through the ball, and that pussy shot straight to the keeper when he should have passed to Brooks on his right..wtf??:rolleyes:

For all those who don't understand English, or don't have the ability to spot the sarcastic response, Chris said we DIDN'T do enough in the final third.

Will Brooks forever be 19, even when he’s 45? He’s 20 :)

Ok, whether he's 19 or 20 he's still learning his trade :) once he's learnt trade and proving it for 90 mins, that's when CW will start playing him from the beginning in games.

Who's suggesting we did enough in the final third? Certainly wasn't Wilder.

We were poor, didn't take the few chances that came our way, nothing more complicated than that.

Do I hope we get in the play-offs? You betcha!

Do I think we have enough about us currently to make it over the line when it counts? I have my doubts.

Being a Blade shouldn't confuse support for the team with blind loyalty. Promotion might just be an ask too far this season, but if the Blades prove me wrong I'll happily take a bow.

He's badly...dint tha know?

Just about everybody who played on Saturday was poor, balls were over hit, passes were astray, players took too long to make decisions and were robbed, it was like they had a hangover but that wouldn't be the case, so the only other thing I can think of for everybody to be below par like that (and previous games too) is that they were too tired. If we're doing something different in training we need to bin it it's ruining the team.

Absolute tosh -"too tired".

And then you suggest it may be something to do with a new training routine? :tumbleweed:

Don't know if you ever played football, but some matches are just like that. Try as you may, things just don't come off. Saturday was one of them. Nothing more, nothing less.

They've been below par for weeks and weeks now mate. Don't know if you've noticed, but they have. I think I've seen every game, home and away, since before Christmas and I've not seen them play really well for ages. Saturday was just another one of them games.

And you were doing so well...:D

Before the Forest game, CW said that Brooks is 'fit enough to start'. In no way does that imply he's fit enough to play a full game. I hoped he'd start last Saturday as our record shows that we've been in front in 21 games this season. Of those, we've won 17, L 3 and D 1. Therefore, we should be looking to 'put matches to bed' rather than be trailing and looking for miracles off the bench.

Perhaps the new system has been implemented since Christmas time? In your haste to say how wrong I am you've overlooked a good theory. Have I ever played football? (Another snide point) I've never seen or played in a side where almost to a man they have been terrible and it's just one of those things-not a man of science are you.
Instead of trying to put down the posts of people you don't like, try coming up with decent points of your own once in a blue moon.
