Maybe Chris needs to take more responsibility for the final 3rd himself, after all they are mostly his signings trying to follow his training and instructions.
If I was Stevens I'd be confused. After the Bolton game Chris said the problem was we were not patient enough working over loads and balls in and yet against Forest Chris effectively said we took too long (I agree).
Isn't the truth that our preoccupation with working over loads is not working as we take too long, the final ball in is usually poor and our forwards are then too static and are marked out of it by the time the ball arrives.
