Wilder's interview tonight

Its one game, albeit a terrible game but its one game we've lost. The play offs are very much alive. Man City the "greatest team ever assembled" lost to Wigan do you think that means there season is over? Its what happens now that decides play offs. Hopefully Wilder is saying to the players "its up to you and how much you want it". He doesn't genuinely feel the play offs are gone.
Spot on. I just hope the players can produce a big display at reading. It's up to the players now!!. How much do they want it?. Utb

He should look inwards tonight, he's fucking around with the team too much. This Lenny is a mistake, don't play him just because he's a £750k signing. Duffy has been the master all season, stick to a winning formula.
Agree , he seems to be trying to justify buying leonard and evans at the expence of duffy and lundstrum who must be well pissed off.

Didn't see that.......Well he should have shot then!o_O

Maybe he should have but he had the defender closing in and probably thought he could do a cross come shot in the corner hoping either the defender would put it in his own net or it would get to Fleck.

Let’s see if it gets the desired reaction from the players next time out....Wilder is far from stupid and knows full well what he expects as a reaction from the players

Watch it back and that was deflected that chance/potential cross by Billy. Aina got a touch to the ball and got directed towards the keeper, Billy saw Fleck making the run.
Billy was poking it towards goal and had no intention of playing Fleck in, which to be fair most strikers would do but it was the wrong decision.

Well I must be one of Wilder’s biggest fans but I think that he needs to have a good look at himself after that shower of shite.

How many if us thought that a midfield three of Fleck, Evans and Leonard had enough attacking flair and why did every player just hoof it out of deference especially in the first half? That has to be down to Wilder’s instructions, not one player tried to consistently pass the ball out of defense until the second half, but they scored the goal and that killed it just as it looked like we’d started to play.

Chris and Alan are as much to blame for that shocker.

I think Aina would have blocked the cross regardless. Sadly Aina is quicker than Billy.

Hes entitle to rotate a little Fleck was one of only 2 changes which was expected it wasnt a wholesale change

it was a bad day at the office , but it was an office on the japanese coast , during the tsunami

on his cameo tonight Donaldson made Hanson look like Saurez
Leonard , every single choice he made was the wrong option

but was like watching head tennis for large portions of the game couldnt understand why it kept descending into ping pong the ball into midfield , played right into Dawson s hands

A lot made of the team selection and not sure why, Duffy can’t play every game and Hull are really shit, so why not use the squad.

At least he didn’t come out like Adkins - hailing a great performance. Fucking hell yeah you’ve won but quality players and performance, I don’t think so. Both teams were utter tripe tonight and Adkins came across as though he is just happy to be employed. For Wilder it cuts much deeper.

I think the top 6 is beyond this squad and he’s just challenged them to prove him wrong. Also a message to the new owner when it happens.
Agree, Adkins was using all his usual sayings and prancing about on Sky like we saw and heard him every week when he was with us. We’d have been in L2 if we’d stuck with him. An absolute walking disaster. Soooo glad we have Sir Chris, absolutely 100% confidence in him

It all depends on when Billy plays it, it could’ve been made had he made the right decision but decision making is what separates the elite from the good.

He also said only Sharp and Clarke deserve any credit tonight
I love Wilder, but that was bollocks. Clarke was in Dawson’s pocket all night, and Billy missed the one half chance we had. They don’t deserve any more credit than the rest of them - I’d give Blackman and Baldock a pass mark tonight, and that’s about it.

This was the wrong team. Probably more suited to the Reading game to an extent but having got 52 points surely it’s go for the jugular time.

One of Holmes, Duffy or Brooks has to play behind the front two. Given Duffy was the only one available I’m not clear what Chris was thinking.

It was going to be a toxic atmosphere tonight and we should have aimed to have them on the wrack early. The fact we were so shit in the first half, came in at 0-0 but then didn’t change it perplexed me. We didn’t need to go a goal down to know it wasn’t working.

Finish mid-table, most of these players will be with us next season; get promoted, some of them will be replaced. Not much of an incentive is it?

If he was shooting then he should have aimed for top corner.
