Kev wants prince to invest.

Prince is dragging his feet hoping for prem on the cheap.

Kevs found a new investor but prince doesn't want his investment diluted

Kev forces princes hand by trigger clause in contract to put up or shut up

Kev releases info to Nixon to put more pressure on prince.

It's like blooming games of thrones.

You know nothing London Road Blades

The deal surely hinges on where we are next season so can't see a quick deal. If we go up the club has to be worth more doesn't it?

But that might be why investors want to strike a deal now?

And why the seller wants to strike a deal.

Good deal for the buyer if we do go up, and still a chance of going up if we don’t.

Good deal for the seller if we don't go up, and still a decent deal anyway.

Risk minimisation all round - that’s where negotiation usually ends up.

Do you have any facts that they are making stuff up or are you just making up a rumour?
The onus is on them to highlight sources or facts to support their story, they’ve quoted or attributed nothing. It’s not starting a rumour, it’s stating a fact. The story either isn’t ready and this is purely an opinion piece based on what’s already out there, or they’re making it up.

Or it's been planted by KM's 'people'.

I would expect the formula for calculating the share valuation is included in the share agreement. Promotion this season would be sticking point for obvious reasons. The real estate can also be valued but why would the Prince want a loss making hotel valued now at a lot less than actual cost? ( although it may of course be included when the original deal).

As I said a few days ago, McCabe started the process, which some originally missed, more to come yet, as Nixon says, quite clearly.
You sound like an old Blade mate' of mine called Andy (he was an accountant), he audited the sufc supporters club accounts when I was the chairman.

What about this....

The Prince wanted to chuck £10mil at it and wanted it to be £5mil each....McCabe was only willing to go to £3mil ... £1.5mil each... Prince not happy but went away and found an alternative source of investment and provided proof of this to Kev which then resulted in the process being instigated in readiness for next season.

Yes, I'll go with that, but you've forgotten the bit about the little leprechaun with his glittery gold fairy dust, his little velvet shod feet prancing and dancing on the centre circle under the moonlight as he scatters his dreams of Premiership to the four corners of the ground. You've seen him haven't you? Him and his Unicorn, Keith.

Just watching mcmafia series, it's a lot easier to understand than this bloody thread, hope the ending is less messy, bring on the unicorns

Blimey. Is this a plot-thickener, or what ?!? If there’s substance to the story, might it suggest a Kev-driven alternative to the Bog Roll buy-out ?

As widely noted, we’re reduced to guesswork at the moment, partly because none of us know what was written in the paperwork back in 2013. But I still feel that the language used in last week’s statement—about activating clauses in contracts—coupled with reports of McCabe gurning at the Octagon when HRH Bog Roll was mentioned, smacks of a hostile takeover (or a co-owner fuckover).

Is this going to turn into a full-on power struggle, despite Kev’s long-stated desire to get out ? One thing most millionaire businessmen really don’t like is being screwed over by other millionaire businessmen. Not good for ego or cock-size, etc.

Foxy ?

Foxy takin over? o_O

I thought the unicorn was called Brian?

It was left in the green bin.
Ah no signature though was there, its time you were brought to task about this, you cannot keep claiming "its in the green bin" , "the neighbour has it", I bet you think I'm stupid...... dont you.

You've bought five unicorns and they've all gone missing in the post . Of course I don't, you're a "valued customer" .....

Seems odd then that Sheff Utd would trigger the clause.
