Havelock Bridge on Myrtle Road. The number of houses lost round that area is phenomenal. These days it looks like a leafy suburb. Well, if you look through squinted eyes it does.

My local route (the 95 to Walkley) was usually run with AEC regents. I can still remember the distinctive noise they made as they climbed up through the gears.
I did used to occasionally catch a Bridgemaster on the 97 to my nans though, seem to remember that they were front entrance variants, but could be mistaken.
The Atlantean's & Fleetline's were never as good as the AEC's

Looking at that image there seems to be what looks like someone standing on the railway side of the steel bridge section about to jump.

Could just be a trick of the light of a train signal structure.

Unlikely to see a zebra in Canklow. It's like Deliverance there with street lights but less teeth. It would be killed skinned and eaten with an an hour.

247 Croookes is on the LHS going out of town, between Toftwood Rd and Bolehill Lane and the buildings on the right of the picture are still there. The ones on the left must have been lost to road widening to allow more space for cars and buses to get up the hill and escape from S6.

Now you've dropped a bollock, I moved out of Hamburg 10 years ago, I'm now a little way outside Hamburg, but "A Little Way Outside Hamburg Blade" doesn't sound that good, and "Schleswig Holstein Blade" is a bit of a mouthful, said the actress to the bishop, so I kept Hamburg Blade and changed my real name instead.

Hamburg is the greatest place on earth, for those who haven't been think Amsterdam, Dublin and Prague rolled into one x10 and you've got Hamburg.

I'm sure its got some lovely museums and parks, but if you're visiting with a group of mates head to the Reeperbahn WOW!!!!

Regarding the Schleswig-Holstein Question, I doubt it will cause another war, but there are still issues since there is a Danish minority in German Schleswig. I live in Holstein, which is much purer, er, er, I mean, it's, er, more German....
