All it takes is not to lose and suddenly they're....well I had to remember why they're so focused on being the best team in Sheffield. Their ambitions seem to be just that, as long as they're top dog in Sheffield that'll do for them. They've found a simple equation = Chansiri's wallet. But, and this is where the answer may be found, have they done their sums where spending and income is concerned? I'm sure there are still several pertinent questions to be asked, let alone answered, but after one overly emotional derby they're suddenly on a roll......we shall see.

Their reviews of last night and the present situation in general are just fantastic. It must be the fourth message board/conversation I’ve witnessed that is simply them trying to convince one another that they’re better than us. They’ve always been delusional but I think they have sunk into outright denial now.

I love the “reserve team” dig. There must have been close to £30m worth of pig out on that pitch. Someone should let them know that the team that dominated territory and possession all night was without it’s superstar wing back, it’s best midfielder, it’s most skilful attacking player and it’s prolific goal scoring captain.
