...yes, after battering them like that I’m sad we didn’t win. But...

They’ve had the drop on us for six years. Millions spent, done nowt. This season, we were supposed to get spanked by everyone, we’ve done better than them. They were supposed to do us at the rust bucket, we thrashed them. Today, after all that, they turned up to a derby looking for 0-0 from the first minute.

Fair play, they got it. But that’s what their ambitions are now. Ours, by contrast, are to win and move on.

The six years head start has gone. We are on top. Tonight showed that the city really is ours.

I'm confused about this battering business. We had more of the ball but we never looked like scoring. I believe we had equal amounts of shot and they had more on target.

That's not battering anyone.

We dominated the game. I agree we should have done better, but we’re gutted with a draw and they are fuckin bouncing to celebrate.

Played them off the pitch, footballing wise.

I know that counts for fuck all when final whistle blows and fair enough they got what they came for.. They came for a point and just disrupted our game. But never looked liked winning.

Taught them a footballing lesson.. In comparison.

65% possession was 75 at one point.. that’s a battering

Utter horseshit, any fucker can pass the ball sideways and backwards.

Leicester were battered every week when they won the Premiership, were they? Arsenal are the best team in England, are they?

Possession is absolutely meaningless if you do nothing with it.

And what did they do with their 35%?

Next to fuck all.

Seriously, a lesson in what? Slow passing? Sorry, Wilder came out with this nonsense after Bolton. We passed the ball more and therefore we were the better side? It's absolute rubbish. We were crap. They did a job on us.

How so?

By getting a point by defending deep? It's hardly doing "a job", it's hanging on.

Bolton did a fucking job on us. Take away the good start and it is not looking so jolly although I am enjoying the attacking intent

They got a point. They had 10 men. They almost won it. I'm pretty sure, given their injuries, lack of form and league position, they did a job on us.

I believe we had equal amounts of shot and they had more on target.

The Sky stats said we had two shots on target, but I can think of:

- Donaldson’s header
- Long range effort from Wilson
- An owl goal attempt that Wildsmith did well to save

There might be more, but I wouldn’t trust Sky’s numbers.

They didn't though, did they?

Unless hanging on and cracking a shot off that is tipped over by an injured keeper is how you judging them. Yes, we should have beaten them had we played as well as we were doing a few matches ago, but it seems to me that some are already falling into their narrative.

The 3rd one is not a shot on target though. I can't think of any others. Considering we were against 10 men for a significant period, only testing a keeper twice is woeful.

So Robbie what's the solution? I thought their gamelan worked tonight, fair enough they got a point.

So what should wilder do? Are the signings the answer?

Would it not have counted if it went in? Why does it matter whose foot/head it came off?

We didn’t play well tonight but we were still by far the better team and Wednesday fans know that they were clinging on against the ‘pub team’. We’ve shown them.

Sorry, we battered no one. One good shot all game from Donaldson and that was only half a chance.
