Combined Sheffield 11

Seen a few pigs complaining about the fact that the Sheffield Star’s combined 11 is weighted toward the blades ( 7-4). They are definitely being generous, a fairer 11 would be.

Can't be true, Sheffield Star hate us, this must just be a ploy to try and burn The Lane down.

Reminds me of Johnny Fantham's testimonial match I went to in October 1970. Wendy 1966 FA Cup final team v Sheffield X1. Can see Hodgy and Tudor in the photo. I think TC and Woody played too

Agree with that, but I like the look of Wildsmith as second choice keeper as well.

With Coutts out, I'd take Bannan over Lundstram.
 
If we’re bring completely objective and including injured players (i.e. Coutts), you have to include Forestieri. Even if you have to put him up top.

He’s an excellent footballer at this level.

Tracey is better than Kelly anyway. If you had to choose just 5 Blades and 5 Wendy for 90 mins plus another one from each side to play for 45 minutes it is not as easy as you might think. Try it!

Think I'd agree with this. Only Hooper and Westwood I'd take. Reach at LB though !! Every pig I know play hell when he's at LB, but you've got Stevens there so all good

LWB to be fair and from what I’ve seen of Reach he’s very good going forward, so think he’d be ideal. LB in a back four, probably not so much!

I hope that's a piss take, Tracey couldn't touch Kelly, good keeper on his day but not in the same league as Sir Alan!

Good point actually, I've only watched us all season so why I though of a LB in our side is beyond me ! Ha

Those stats mean jack though do they? Tracey played in a double promotion side which got him the marginally better win ratio over Kelly who played in lets face it, some bang average sides, suffered a relegation and never played in a side that won automatic promotion! Goalkeeper on Goalkeeper without the win ratios (as that involves others around them) Alan Kelly was a better all round goalkeeper imho!
