Is our current best option match day squad better than the one that started against Burton? I personally think it really is although time will tell if the same can be said for the starting eleven. Somebody is going to have to do better than Coutts to do that, but in Evans, Lundy and Len we’ve got a three excellent contenders.

I think we’ve done really well so far, although we must now hang onto our better players to really make this an outstanding window (Eh Kev?).

I think it is already one of the most successful transfer windows in a very long time, add in Holmes and it will be an unbelievable one strength in number all over the pitch.

Even if we don't (only speaking as devil's advocate!!!) at least we've got the replacements that CW WANT's in first, so no emergency last-minute take whatever's left panic buys this time

Wilders done his usual trick of making good value signings, buying stars from the lower leagues.

Decent players who are hungry with something to prove.
All those players have the potential to shine and be star players for SU.

We have strengthened, but with Brooks unwell (and glandular fever could genuinely hamper him for the rest of his season) I still feel we are really lacking some pace. I know Donaldson and Clarke both have a bit of pace, but I think we need someone who can take a man on at speed. It would have been nice to get Ryan Kent, but I'm sure there must be other youngsters available who can come on and cause teams problems. A Premiership loan would be good for this, but without any silly stipulations that they're guaranteed to play.
