Aliens wouldn’t dare land in Barnsley.
Sadly I can see my house on the top photo. Ashamed to say
Just heard a pig on football heaven who’s decided this is a very clever name to give us. He even looked up the distance between the sty and Barnsley and The Lane and Chesterfield on the coach on his way home from Carlisle to confirm how far apart the the grounds actually are, and guess what, Chesterfield is closer to us than Barnsley is to them!
He is now urging the swine to use his new thought up name as an insult for us. As usual, copy everything from The Blades and soon it will have been their idea which we copied.
At least the presenter told him not to be so childish.
We've got a much better relationship as a club and fanbase, with Radio Sheffield now. Its all very cyclical. But the amusing thing about this is that if United are North Chesterfield, then Radio Sheffield is Radio North Chesterfield because they're on Shoreham street too!So, if an Owl refers to us as "North Chesterfield" it's "childish", but it's ok for us to refer to Owls as "South Barnsley" and that's not childish?
Just shows how biased RS are then in our favour?
Which is not surprising really, because we are neighbours after all! (I think Pennine Radio is closer to S6 than Radio Sheffield?)

This is why I don't get coaches to away games. He even looked up the distance between the sty and Barnsley and The Lane and Chesterfield on the coach on his way home from Carlisle to confirm how far apart the the grounds actually are, and guess what, Chesterfield is closer to us than Barnsley is to them!
I'd go one further. We're closer to Spain than that lot so technically our derogatory nickname should be North Barcelona.

Didn't the gorgeous sexy Tara FitzgeraldOr a Hoofer? “No Plan B” is often a euphemism for gerrituptfield.

it's alright for you saying you'd bet your mortgage on it, some people haven't got one anymore cos they've paid it off!!I'd bet my mortgage that he couldn't describe our plan A so how would he know if we have a plan b? This "been found out" stuff is hilarious. Our levels dropped and we had bad luck. It's a 46 game season - let's see how many times we get found out at home between now and May. I'm betting not many
you what ?As i said, I'm not points scoring & my memory is poor, and I'll happily be corrected/educated.
My take on the game was that we set out with our Plan A, which is 3-5-2 relatively quick, relatively positive shortish passing football. CCV was having a poor game and got subbed. Baldock & Basham changed positions, and we continued with Plan A. We didn't move the ball about as quickly as we should, which allowed Bolton to slip back into two fairly solid banks of defence & midfield, but always having the luxury of the 'out ball' to Madine and pace enough in midfield for at least one player to join him. That kept our CB's honest. Our WB's & FW's were sat on the edge of the 18 yrd box having balls played into their feet by our CM and the balls were being knocked back into the CM's. I thought part of the reason for the slow movement of the ball appeared to be over playing it between duffy & fleck. The fact that we couldn't get beyond their defence in wide areas & cross totally negated billy sharp. This pattern of play continued until the 60min mark when we swapped sharp for donaldson. Still in a 3-5-2 formation, still with the same style of play, still being frustrated. We seemed to bog oursleves down in the kop/south stand corner when duffy/fleck/stevens play a series of short paces to each other. This continued for the next 20 mins or so, until with 10 mins to go we swapped stearman for carruthers and went 4-3-3. You could argue that was Plan B. Perhaps my point isn't about the existence of a Plan B, but CW's belief in it and his willingness to initiate it.
Which bit?

Who needs a plan B anyways when plan A smashed the pork in their own backyard.

Not wishing to appear deliberately controversial & not having a dig, more an honest question to the floor, but what was our Plan B against Bolton?
