Ever been in Bramall lane and heard the attendance read out and thought is it people who bought tickets or actually came through the turnstiles?

Well just heard on radio 5 that Arsenal only put out tickets sold not who walk through the turnstiles.

I think it depends on Breed. Chihuahua's are classed as a half.

Dobermans are classed as 4. Depends how many seats they take up.

Most teams are doing this. Owls fan on radio yesterday said the attendance against Burton was a little over 21000 but the attendance quoted 25000 included freebies and season tickets for those who didn't turn up. Watched the Sunderland Barnsley highlights where there was supposed to be 26000 in the ground, it wasn't a 1/3 rd full, more like 13/15000 tops. Should be stopped.

I know I'm taking it too seriously, but not knowing for definite how many people are in the ground leads to all sorts of misconceptions about how easy it is for a crowd of a certain size to exit in an emergency for instance.

After disasters, it takes a while before idiots in charge start bending the rules for reasons of propaganda, again, taking it to an horrific level, Wednesday thought that they could squeeze more into Leppings Lane than they actually could do didn't they, they'd forgotten the lesson they should have learnt when Spurs fans were crushed a decade earlier.

Bert was at that Spurs semi final. Wednesday were very lucky that nobody died and yet they and the police learned precisely nothing that day.

It used to be that Arsenal's attendance was always 70,000 as they recorded only tickets sold and not fans through the turnstiles, however, just seen on Sky Sports that the attendance last night was 59379 which suggests that its the fans through the turnstiles and not tickets sold.

The capacity at the Emirates is only 59,867.
