no ones nailed on yet thought Brentford offered more than Wolves did at the laneI think Wolves are nailed on for one of the spots, but the others are on offer as far as I'm concerned.
The longer you've been around, the harder to shake off the pessimism. I am beginning to believe that one of the factors in many of our cock-ups, the loss of key players through injury or selling them, is less likely to happen under Wilder, because we are now a good team and a good squad. Disasters like Hodgy's broken thumb or Ched's sudden disappearance are far less likely to happen, because the squad is strong, and replacements already around. To survive the recent injury crisis with the strikers was remarkable. The only loss I worry about now is Wilder himself - irreplaceable. It's hard not to get carried away at the moment. We're certainly good enough to mix it with anyone in this division, and good enough to be around the top 6 come April/May. My problem is 21 years of watching United always has me waiting for the cockup. Lord CW is slowly beating that mindset out of me, but it takes a long time to erase all the scars!
I think we can dispel our worst fears.
24 points after 12 doesn’t look like a season fending off relegation. Especially when you factor in injuries to 5 strikers at certain points in time as well as a few defensive one too.
Reasons to be cheerful without inviting the football Gods to shit on our dinner!
Wilder is just relentless. Leaves you thirsty for the next match as a fan so must ne great for the players.
Considering the shambles they inherited the turnaround is nothing short of miraculous. Their achievements over the last three years cannot be overemphasised, neither this or Northampton were straight forward jobs to walk into but Wilder and Knilly are making it look easy.Wilder (and Knill's) League record at the Blades (so far...)

Quite remarkable, Jeff.

No apologies for the bump. My feeling is just as strong.
Surely part of enjoying the ride is talking about it, including the future, I don't feel anybody is getting in front of themselves, I hope I am excited in March, but to be honest I'm excited now and want to talk about the past and future. It's still way too early to think like that. Weren't scunny dancing at the top of league 1 last year only to fall apart and barely scrape the play offs. I fully understand we are a different team but getting ahead of ourselves is a delusional trait reserved for S6 not S2! Let's enjoy this ride were playing well and we can keep it going! Let's get excited in march if we're still joint second (or better lol) until then Bash is right 50 points then we push on!
Strangely I don't see Brooks going in January.
Another nine wins and we avoid relegation. First objective.
Wouldn't sully myself. Leave that to RoygbivOi! Get back on Porktalk!![]()
