When CCV missed his clearance today I had two behind me called him a bomb scare. I thought he was excellent today and looks a proper footballer. I love wright but I'm starting to see why Wilder is playing this lad ahead of him.

Generally though, people around me are a good bunch, although I'm still shocked by how many urge the team to get it forwards earlier. Has the last 12 months taught them nothing?

No but we all whine from time to time. But today we had a "who would you drop from this team, who gives you that 'oh for fuck sake' feeling when they start or come on as a sub". Silence. Answer "none one of them" and then big fucking smiles all round !! Non of the squad that has featured can be complained about. They are probably just two old cunts who have to moan to exist, otherwise they'd have nothing to say.

Guilty to both. Said I still wasn't convinced by CCV cos he had a rick in him every game. Just before the goal urged the long ball only for Fleck to go on his run. What do I know? Row M South Stand. Can't be me, most of us are dead.

No, they love moaning and denigrating the team they claim to support. It’s no good defending our fans all the time. Some of them, including many who travel to away games, are complete Non-Blade Wankers. I’ve seen and heard them over several decades.

I am one year older than Metal.That Harris team was special and I don't think I will see better. However, this is how football should be played. Absolute quality not seen since those days.
 
I've spent 40+ years earning my grumble stripes at the Lane, but since CW has taken over I'm struggling to find owt to moan about. The football the team plays and the effort the players put in, at the moment there is virtually nothing to grumble about.
 
Some people just enjoy moaning. Football is and always has been an ideal place to do it after a shit/frustrating/dull week at work or tending the garden.

Which we all have. Some of us don’t want it capped off by listening to self-indulgent fucking idiots, confirming their crass ignorance for ninety minutes.
 
There is a case for a little frustration .
Under Adkins we got to half time and it'd be pretty certain it'd be 0-0 as we wouldn't have had an attack. Now it's chance after chance so to go in level after dominating can be annoying but in a totally different way

Last time we were this good we arrived at Old Trafford in 1971, (we were top of the First division v 2nd), and started queuing at 1.30pm only to be turned away- full house. ( No pre-ordering away tickets in those days).

For years afterwards we watched that George Best wonder goal on Match of the Day, just as a reminder of a really bad day. We lost 2-0.

Bert and his gang pushed in at the front of the queue, that's probably why you didn't get in. Apologies.
 
There was nothing to complain about, we played a good side and over 90+ mins we limited them to a couple of half chances. The goal was coming, personally I thought it was coming before half time.

We're excellent with the ball, and work very hard when we don't have it, with that work ethic we won't lose many games.

I really don't see why people can complain, it's not that long since there was scrapping amongst our own, enjoy what we have, something very special.
