Nice little article

Done 14 of them .... best for atmosphere, apart from BDBL of course, was seeing the Liverpool derby at Anfield and the Milan derby (if thats what the Italians call it?) at the San Siro

Cant understand Craven Cottage though?

It's basically just a random selection of stadiums that someone's uploaded to YouTube. There's loads of omissions, including Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal in the UK. I'm not sure that BDTBL being on there is anything to celebrate

10 for me.

My favourite though is Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa. Home to Genoa and Sampdoria.

Spine tingling atmosphere. Really steep stands. Any steeper or closer and you'd be on the pitch.

Never knew the stadium looked like that and never knew they shared the ground either.

Always liked Sampdoria from back in Championship Manager Italia days! Always liked their kit too.

Interesting, glad we're in there, but you'd be hard pressed to visit Shaktar Donetsk's stadium. Not only is it in the Russian separatist controlled Donbas region of Ukraine, but it's been virtually destroyed in the war. I was lucky enough to visit it just a few days before the war started, and it was stunning. They now play in Kiev.

They've recently moved and share with FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv now. The Donbass Arena as you say was somewhat damaged by artillery in 2014.

Whats odd is they call the Amsterdam ArenA the Johan Cruyff Arena this was only announced a few months ago, 3years after Donbas was essentially annexed, Don't want to talk it down but they seem to have just randomly selected stadiums based on very little research.

Don't like this Dortmund love in myself, other than if the mighty schalke were playing there wild horses couldn't get
me to venture in. Now the Veltins arena a different kettle of fish. I've been to the old Parkstadion a number of times
but never the new one. My only gripe with it is it is two small, They are with Bayern, and Dortmund the 3 best supported
teams in Germany, and yet they build a 62,000 seat stadium, madness I Say!

16 for me. Really liked Estadio De luz. Like emirates but with steroids.

Can't understand why many are in there to be fair.

One I enjoyed to visit was Nuremburg. Old ground and surrounded by great history and a superb ww2 museum.

Taking away my rose tinted specs I’m surprised the Lane is in there but even more surprised Craven Cottage is.

Done 11. Apart from BTBL and many great occasions “best” atmospheres were Celtic v Rangers 1980, Man Utd v Barcelona 1984 ( I think), Liverpool v Everton ( Maine Road League Cup Final replay ) 1984.

Highbury would have been there but....

Surprised the Shay is not on the list

done 9. however i expect that to increase into the twenties within a decade, after our several champions league group stages...................................................................................................

This is a stadium I would love to visit before I die...

It's one of the highest stadia (arguably the highest above sea level) in the world. The altitude is almost 12,000 feet. That's higher than what RyanAir flies on some of its routes!

It's the Hernando Siles stadium in La Paz, the capital city of Bolivia.

Maradona didnt bother preparing the Argentinian team (he managed) to train at this altitude. No surprise his team lost 6-1!
