Well what can I say but we was beaten by the better team on the day no argument about that.you started like a house on fire and I thought a 0.6 rout was on the cards. we never got going until after half-time and Brooks looks to be a good player in the making and made our full back look a twat at times.the blades deserved to win and we got what we deserved and the thing is I'm not even angry about it.i said I'd come on win lose or draw sadly we lost but I'll get over it.time for a beer I think

No doubt about it your entire club has underestimated what we have at United and despite telling many of you for the six months that we were building something, it wasn't to be believed. Well today, you saw it. It won't have been pretty to watch from your side, but by god it looked good from ours.
At times today we were sensational, but we took our foot off the gas a little bit and let you back in. Made it difficult for ourselves and let you back in, but showed the character again to finish the game.
It surprised me how poor you were today but perhaps it shouldn't have done. We heard in the build up from Wednesday fans that "if Wednesday turn up we'll slaughter the Blades". IF? If you're going to turn up for a derby? There was no doubt we were turning up. We didn't know which strikers we'd play, but we knew that whoever played they'd "turn up".
You've proved over the last two seasons that your consistently top 6 in a hard league, but what you showed today against us was pitiful. That midfield you have should've had no problems dealing with ours, but tactically, bringing Basham into midfield it allowed us to play.
Blades on this forum have talked all summer about needing pace, quick players, but one comment i got on messenger from my Wednesday mate was how fast we are. Not individually, but how fast we move the ball. Wilder and Knill have sat Coutts and Fleck in the middle to play the ball. You simply didn't deal with our counter attacks.
Good luck for the season, i can't see Carlos keeping his job for long if you continue like that, which is a shame as he's a likeable character.
