For sure. It's hard for most teams at the moment with the workload around Christmas though isn't it?It is. But we need consistency. So a win needs analysing.
They can last 90 mins, just not at the pace they started the game at. All teams are the same whether you like it or not.I just don't understand when your supposed to be a pro footballer you cant potentially last 90 mins? My question is why are they so unfit and why has Wilder not addressed it?
100%I'd say half the team on the floor cramping answers that question. The physical drop off in terms of the pressing lines and sprints is also pretty obvious.

It's about having enough fit players to put out a competitive team.
Once the fixtures calm down a bit it will be easier to analyse our performances and results.
That's why personally I think the Laws of the Game needs a rewrite, the denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity, like you correctly states keeps them in it at 2-1. Personally (although stealing from a different sport) I would like the player making the foul to receive a yellow rather than red and the other team being given a "penalty goal". The classic example of this was in the World cup in 2010 with the Luis Suarez handball on the line incident against Ghana, he was sent off and Ghana got a penalty for which it was saved. A penalty goal in that case would have been better justified as the ball was going in.Did it though, or did it just keep Stoke in the game.
If Pearson doesn't bring him down, you'd back Bamford to go through and make it 3-1, which would have been game over.
Instead, Stoke go down to 10 men but stay in the game scoreline wise, rather than having 11 players but potentially being 3-1 down.
Hold on, we lost?Watching United is like watching a boxer unloading for 2 rounds and punching out only to get twated in the 5th for the KO. This high press needs super fit squads . Because we have a shite defence we can’t sit deep either. Screwed either way aren’t we![]()
Or 92 points over a whole season at that rate. Enough for promotion ...Last 10 games W6 D2 L2 = 20 points = 2 points a game = 73 points if we continue that way.
Last 6 games, but for that weird capitulation at Wrexham, which was addressed the game after, would have been a similar return.
With Jan transfer activity to come, I wouldn't say it's laughable to consider us scraping into the play-offs as a possibility by dealing with the issue raised by Nedski
Not probable, but definitely possible.
I suppose you would be wetting your pants if we ever got Phil Parkinson then.Other teams have managers with the tactical knowledge to change games, we don’t.
We certainly can’t handle a change in momentum during games, not sure if that’s down to the team or the manager though Wilder is definitely reactive rather than pro activeThat’s utter drivel.
Stoke also had a couple of chances after the sending off to equalise.Did it though, or did it just keep Stoke in the game.

They were picking up steam at 2-1 and looked livelier than us going forward. Bamford was fouled so far out it’s impossible to put a likelihood on him scoring.
Yeah, maybe "saved us" was a bit strong, but they were definitely on top at that pont and losing a man took the wind out of their sails a bit. We might well have seen it out, but it most definitely did help us.
stoke are a poor team better quality in the final 3rd and we would have won more comfortablyI know we do have a disturbing habit of collapsing when in strong positions. But last night Stoke didn't really seem hugely threateningly. It could be argued that just before the sending off it was us who had the best chance when Bamford's effort was saved.

We're such an inconsistent team. Soumare and Burrows have been poor so far this season, but tonight they were both great. Play them both next game and they'll probably revert back to poor.

Top of the form table over the last 10 games.
Over the past ten games we have a better record than any other club in the division. No team will win every game. We've lost two, drawn two and won six of the last ten. We're such an inconsistent team
The Wilder fanboys really will pluck out any random stat to support their idol won’t theyTop of the form table over the last 10 games.

Did you know we have a 100% win record based on the last 1 game…
Think incomings will depend on if Bamford is staying or going. I was against him but think Wilder has given him a lease of life as a clean player and as such is worth building a squad around.Wilder can add to the squad now, we just needed to get through these Christmas matches.
