Firstly apologies if I've posted this in the wrong section (admin please move if so)

I'm selling on behalf of my dad this limited edition signed framed picture of Alan Kelly saving Dion Dublin's penalty in the FA cup shoot-out win over Coventry which saw us reach the semi-finals in 97/98.

Some of you may have one of your own as there were only 50 of these produced (I believe they went to the first 50 to sign up to "Blades 2000" membership at the turn of the millennium.

It's in excellent condition and a great collectors item. He's looking for around £500 for it but open to any serious offers if anybody's interested

Be better on eBay but seriously don't expect much more than about £75...might be signed but there are 50 of them and unless you get two people who really want it..it's worth what someone will pay

Framed, signed Pele or Messi shirts, mounted similarly to this are available for less than £400

I think £500 is ambitious, to say the least

Good luck with your sale

We have two of these. I offered one as a donation at the end of last season for a do United were having. No-one bothered to get back to me. So, if anyone is having a charity do for a good cause at any time, pm me and you can have it, as long as you can prove it is for a good cause and not going to end up on eBay :)

To be honest I told him exactly that too!

He doesn't particularly want to sell it, was more a case of if he can get decent money for it then he will.

Wasn't expecting anything but if you don't ask you don't get! :)

I'll give you £30 if you want to give the money to charity, it'd go nicely in Box 6 at the Lane.

I have a limited edition print of Don Givens taking a penalty v Walsall on the last home match of the season in 1981. I paid £500 for it back then. It's reckoned to be the only one remaining now as all the others got smashed up. I am looking for £2 million for it. Am I in the right section or do I need sectioning?

Think you should have been sectioned long ago Cerberus, with or without the signed pic. ☺

I have that exact same one. 50 quid anyone?

£500??? Great night that and remember helping in carry Kelly off the pitch but I think that's a tad over priced.

That'll do for me. I can take it to the Lane tomorrow and drop it off at John Street reception. Can I trust you to put £30 in the next charity bucket at the Lane?

Apologies for the bump, but does anyone have one of these pictures they want to sell?

Got me thinking about what my signed photo of M Ali would be worth, based on this thread I could probably exchange it for about 5 shillings, 3 packs of opal fruits, and 12 stain covered copies of Escort magazine from the 1980s!

If it's the only one left, I'll get in touch with Don and ask him if he wants the opportunity to destroy the last of photographic evidence.

You'd have to meet him somewhere outside Sheffield though as, at the time, he told me he'd probably never dare to come to Sheffield again!

Yet John Matthews (IIRC) who was meant to take the penalty gets off more or less scott free. If I was Don I'd feel more than a little injustice at the stick he gets if I'm honest.
