Believe the above may be in wilder thoughts that is why he us looking for a guy who can play as a central,defender or midfield, I.e coady or lenihan, if this fails do not be surprised on a short term deal or loan for premiership quality player until whiteman is back. I had a dream the night before last that myself and some of my relatives were swimming on Skegness beach and a Killer Whale was jumping in and out of the water and my relatives were scared but I reassured them that it wouldn't try to eat us because they only eat smaller fish.

Then when I woke up I Googled it to check my facts and apparently they've killed humans before and have been known to attack and eat animals as large as Moose. So if this was a real situation, and we were swimming casually without a care because of my ill-informed advice, we could have died.

This dream and following Google search could save my life one day.

A bit like rubbing Aladdin's lamp, call me and, pooff, I shall appear from nowhere. I have been keeping an occasional eye on this thread, but apart from some mild abuse from a poster who's avatar is a manic clown (really?) there wasn't much to tempt me.

First things first, very good result for you chaps yesterday, maybe made better by the fact that you beat Barnsley (to be expected?) and also because you are above your city rivals by a whole one point.

So, To Lenny. Truthfully, as far as I know there is absolutely nothing new on the Lendog transfer saga. I notice someone on here reckoned you had bid £1 million, Christ, if you had he would be wearing the red and white by now with a huge smile and a big signing on fee, so I reckon that rumour was a bit naff. Since we annihilated Blackburn (Lenny scored and was v good) we have contrived to be total bollox against Newport (yep, hard to believe isn't it?) and then worse than total bollox against Rotherham, taking it up the arse 5 times. Mr Brown was not best pleased let me tell you. Our squad was in for training and a debrief at 07:00 on the Sunday morning. By debrief actually read something only slightly less than castration or the donation of one bollock each. So on to yesterday, nearly 8k of us held our breath and wondered which Southend was going to turn up. One that drew 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle was the answer, and if we had taken our first half chances we would have had all three points, we didn't and we settled for a draw. In that first 45 minutes we were brilliant in everything but goal scoring, still you can't have everything I suppose, our goal was an OG.

One of the reasons for posting his morning is to share a blog from a Plymouth supporter from yesterday's game, which, in my view, is probably one of the best match blogs I have ever read. I know you lot appreciate quality (which is why you want Len) so have a read and see what you think. The Blogster offers a very unbiased view of Len which just makes me happy that he is still plying his trade with us and not you gents.
