If Brayford starts , I will bare my arse on the town hall steps.
Okay. Let's just cut through the nonsense:
Stearman is a certainty. In the unlikely event of Linehan arriving he'll replace Basham as the Right Centre-Back. That's what he does.
Why would you pick anyone but Leon to play up front? Madness.
Samir will play. He's won (for now) the battle with Duffy for that spot.
David Brooks will rightly be on the bench but will definitely gerrarunoutferabitagametime. That's how it should be for people with common sense. Sorry Bladey Boybanders, you haven't any.
Bradford won't start. That's an absolute certainty.
Stevens to start at LB. Again battle won for now.
Of course Blackman will be in goal. He actually has some experience of League Football. Eastwood to start first game of season? Echoes of the clamour for Calamity George. Again, Bladey Boyband Madness.
That's the team. You lot carry on with your wishful thinking, of course. That's your prerogative. I'll drag it back to the real world.
If Brayford's in the squad I will bare everything on the town hall steps.
It's like some people have completely ignored Basham's performances all year - while harbouring fantasies of the Brayford of 2014 returning, and also having abilities that he never actually had. Basham's been outstanding this year. He's probably been our best player. In every aspect of the game, he has performed to a very high standard. RCB also suits him perfectly and is blatantly his best position.
Brayford isn't better than him in any department at RCB. What's he good at defensively? I thought it was widely acknowledged that defending was never his main strength.
Generally I can't believe how the Brayford subject is dragging on. People need to realise that he isn't the same player and never will be. But more than anything, people need to realise that he blatantly isn't in Wilder's plans, and that it would take a monumental turnaround for that to change.

Within a month Lundstram in front of Coutts or Fleck, probably Coutts. Lundstram adds height and strength.
Have you seen Lundstram play ?
I really cant see him starting in front of Coutts or Fleck within a month
Wilder is not about height and strength hes more about what you do with the football at your feet
Get ready to cloth off mate.
He will be in the squad and why not? Had a fantastic season last season in the league we are now in. Forget the obsession with Clough

Come on, my points about Brayford have more than enough to them to simply be put down to an 'obsession with Clough'.
He's not been involved in pre season until Eastleigh the other night, for 45 minutes.
Wilder's made it very obvious that he doesn't want him.
It's also very unlikely he'd put him on the bench ahead of Wright or Lafferty.
We have Basham and Stearman on the pitch who can cover RB, and Basham for RWB too.
There's no need for him anywhere. He'll be lucky to play for us again.
Herb, Wilder was buying another attacking middy/forward till Brooks stepped up. I totally agree with most of what you say re Brayford but IF he is fit and can do a good job, would it not make sense to utilise a player we already own and pay a lot of wages to?
Is his attitude is right, if he wants to be here, and if we can't get rid of him, then yes, but even if he played to his current best, I don't think he's Wilder's type of CB at all.
My time will come. Avoiding a public indecency charge isn't easy! When you do commit to a full frontal with evidence, make sure you drag that other fibber, alcoblade, to fulfill his pledge to bare his arse for all to see. Some pledges aren't easily forgotten. UTB

My 15" cock is a dead giveaway, sadly. It's why yer mum sends you an xmas balaclava! Just put a placard around your neck with your name on, I think we'd all settle for that![]()

I usually faint, so I'd have to guess at 20 plus. What about when you're erect?

Bash did really well last season once he got to grips with the role and you can't fault his passion and determination. If Brayford's in the squad I will bare everything on the town hall steps.

I also agree it's unlikely wilder will drop him for brayford and that there is a question mark over his commitment.
However, brayford is a far better defender and all round footballer than basham will ever be.

It is with a decent brief...
Positioning is the main thing for me. Basham drifts out of position a lot, I reckon because he is a natural midfield. TBF he has got better but he still does it and it will get exposed in the championship. What exactly is he far better at then?
Tell that to the burton fansBrayford isn't a good defender at all, he's a good attacking full back though (like Freeman).
*or he was good before injuries set in, he might still be good but I've not seen him play lately
Tell that to the burton fans
Our ambitions compared to burton have nothing to do with it, brayford played well in a poor team against championship attackers.I'd like to think we've got higher expectations than the Burton fans. I also don't have to tell them anything as I saw it with my own eyes. You've mentioned on another post that Brayford is better than Basham positionally but that couldn't be further from the truth. Brayford is terrible positionally.

Brayford is also better with the ball, passing and linking up with the forwards and crossing and shooting, down to him being a fullback.
I know the attacking side isn't as important in the RCB role but wilder still likes the to get forward and I'd much rather see brayford running up the field with the ball than basham
