Just bumped into Simon Moore in a cafe.

Asked him how it was, said it felt ok and it was a 'funny one' asked if he thinks he will be ok for the start of the season he said yes hopefully it's not that bad. He was on crutches but sempt very hopeful.

Lower half of his leg was facing the wrong way but he'll be fine.

Towards the end of last season Moore pulled up after a clearance in front of the kop. Took him a while to walk it off but quite a few around me noticed it too. Wonder if there's an underlying problem?

If he's on crutches and apparently there is something floating at the back of the knee I don't think he'll make the start of the season. I'd say a guess of 4-6 weeks. That's just my guess. We need another keeper anyway but its not ideal for sure and Moore has proved to be a good signing.

Iv just spoke to the bloke and he told me it wasn't that bad of an injury! If it was as bad as you say I doubt he would be walking around on crutches he would be in hospital.

Surprised he is walking around TBH even if on crutches. Thought it was Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation for the first 24 hours with most leg injuries.

Hopefully it's not too bad. From the sounds of it, it's likely to be 6-10 weeks. He's a really important player for us.

In a way, it might be fortuitous. It will force the club to bring in a keeper who will start the first few games of the season. Therefore, we might get someone a bit better than expected.

Watch it turn out he needs a major operation to completely repair all four knee ligaments

I sit close to the BL end and noticed a few times during games he was feeling the back of his leg and doing lunge like stretches.

Today I've been speaking to one of the ambulance men from last night, he said he was alright enough when they got him back to the physios room, but think the general feeling (from the United side rather than ambulance side) was there is some (underlying) problem .

Eccy Road or Costa at Broomhill?

yes, there are too many pillars obstructing the view. The sooner they knock it down and build it again the better.

Almost exactly a year ago we approached Lee Grant to join us and we were aghast that he asked for £8k a week.

We can afford somebody like him now and will get someone, no worries. Just 12 months contract though and we'll see what develops after that. We might need you as cover in the Prem then!!

Looks a no-brainer to me - Ramsdale back on season-long loan.

Sorry if that's already been said, time at a premium.

Given he was seen by another poster in a cafe today and said it wasn't that bad, and Billy Sharp also said in his interview that Moore was "hobbling round", makes me think maybe it's possibly not as serious as was thought?
