So its a purely hypothetical question.
If we received a:
- 10 Million offer for Fleck
- 5 Million offer for Brooks
- We have to sell one, but we can only sell one (not both).
- Both have sell on clauses
- Both offers are from lower to mid table Premier League sides.
- The other wouldn't be sold for 5 years
Fleck, 25 (44 games, 4 goals) - Established player, proven in League one to be able to run the centre of midfield, great passer of the ball, starting to get more goals now and is at the peak of fitness and his career. Probably has another 8-10 years at his peak, so would see the next 5 years out
Brooks, 19 (0 league games, 0 goals) - Young, plenty to learn, player of the Toulon Tournament and a great prospect, his whole career ahead of him.
There are no smart alternatives, we have to sell one, we keep the other. Who would you SELL?
