Been quite a few times, to support the other team, if they plsyed in red I would take my scarf and stand with their lot usually on kop, sometimes onleppings lane, went to support newcastke, didn't take my scark, when Ian mcfaul was in goal, that was tasty later, good memories

I went to see Leicester play them too. I actually went on my own in the away end! They had Bassett as assistant manager, Mickey Adams as manager and Deane was in their squad too then, but sadly he didn't play. Leicester won that they too, it was in the league cup but can't remember the year. Probably 2003-2003.
.

I read that the Wendy fans in the North Stand giving Adams the stick throughout the game but when Leicester scored the late winner he turned round to them smiling using his finger to push his nose up!

Yes when Man City sent them down , it was a very satysfying night aswell
Here lies the body of the old blue amd white, who's timely demise was on a wet, windy night. Before 45,000 it seemed such a pity, the chief executioner was Manchester City! Hangman Mike Sumerbee. Chief Warden Joe Mercer.

Also went to see Chesterfield there. Again went on my own in the away end (sad maybe but I enjoyed it!)! They had Wayne Allison up front and I just fancied singing CHIEEEEF one more time! It was a 2 - 2 draw I think. Been a couple of other times with mates of other clubs so all in all I've been about 6 times in the away end with other teams! And obviously watched United there a few times too.
went back in 2012 the year before Leicester got promoted to the prem

Went to watch Santos and the great Edson Arantes de Nascimento (Pele).

I also went to see United play Bury in an FA Cup 3rd Round replay in 1962. We had drawn 0-0 at Gigg Lane and 2-2 at Bramall Lane. There were of course second replays in those days at neutral grounds and United won the toss for choice of ground and chose Hillsborough. We won the match 2-0.

Stood on their Kop twice to see Everton in 80's. First was the league game Everton won 1-0 and Southall made the wonder save from Varadi. 2nd was a cup replay game in 1988 which Everton were 5-0 up at half time :)
Think we won 4 or 5 nil the same night

All night games,
Aston Villa vs Everton league cup final replay. 1978 ish.
Pigs vs Crystal Palace (late 70s), was on the LL end, pigs lost 1:3
Pigs vs Liverpool (early 80s) with a pig supporting mate, we got chased after the game by two scouses carrying knives.

Not sure about that, we went down that season. Just checked and that cup replay was 27 January 88. I'd seen us lose by the same score at home to Oldham at the beginning of the month! We'd scraped past Maidstone in 3rd round.

Also I sat with the Rotherham fans on Leppings Lane and watched them beat the pigs under Ronnie Moore. A priceless moment particularly as the arrogance factor seemed particularly high before hand

My uncle was/is a season ticket holder. I went when he was on holiday and they were still in Prem they played West Ham I believe. I had full United kit on under my clothes!!

I went to the Arsenal league cup match (think it was last season) The one where they beat the kids 3-0.

Not seen a good mate in ages and his only night off was this match which he had a spare ticket. Anyway £10 ticket see my mate and watch Arsenal stuff them was the idea, good night all round.

Well as the score suggests Arsenal were poor. Cech only one who looked bothered, Walcott and Ox off after 10 mins with injury and the game was over for any competitive action after that. Giroud made Joao look world class and Joao couldnt control a ball or hit a barn door, it was that bad of an Arsenal performance.

The think that struck me between Wednesday and United was how clinical Wed we're, the standard of football was very average at best, nothing exciting to watch but they defended well and took their chance when they came.

Wednesday fans left the ground like they'd battered a full strength Arsenal side to which I was trying to bring them back to reality a bit, to no effect (thought my mate was pretty grounded as a football fan until that night). I left laughing at their overall joy.

Highlight of the night was tram ride down with all the Gooners, good bunch singing all the way, all the latest pop songs with players name in made for a good atmosphere. Thanks to the young lass who took an interest in me ;) no idea why, Yorkshire charm I guess. Also on the way out my mates day saying "we're crammed in here like cattle" to which I replied "or some other farm yard animal" and got a few dirty looks hahaha.

Just done a bit of research and 3/9/85 we beat Rotherham 5-1 at the Lane in the League Cup and they lost 5-1 at home to Everton

Back in the day, my dad worked on the buses and would often do the "Football Specials" to Hillsborough. He and his mate would get complimentary tickets for the game but they were Blades and waited on the bus until full-time for the return journey.

I got dragged along a few years ago with a Liverpool supporting friend. Stood on Leppers Lane, Pigs v Liverpool cup match. I remember bloody Smegson scoring.

Done it twice. Once with a Wednesday supporting school mate who dragged me along to wednesday versus Barnsley. Terrible game, enlivened only by a centre forward playing for Barnsley called Hirst.

Only other time was when I went in the away end when Newcastle were playing there in the 90's, with a newcastle fan as part of a university reunion. He must have got 15 tickets which speaks to how empty away ends were back in those days. Spent the whole afternoon chanting " dodgy keeper" at pressman, who'd just fucked up the week before.

No real appetite to do it again if I'm honest

When I was around 11, I went to a match at the sty with my 'friend' and his dad. It was a generous offer; my ticket was paid for, h/t tomato soup was provided and I was driven to the match by said parent.

I expressed my gratitude by violently vomiting aforementioned tomato soup all over the cream leather interior of the Ford Granada that was transporting me home.

It was probably travel sickness, but I like to think it was a rejection of the pork and a symbolic gesture in an apt shade of red.

I used to work for a catering company, and ended up working there once. Usually did Bramall Lane, cricket and functions.

I was working a bar on the north stand when a previous boss spotted me and outed me as a blade to his mates around him... Had a few people come up looking for trouble once the news had got out, but was saved by a steward. Who turned out to be a blade. It was the only game I'd worked that i didn't bother watching any of the game.

They didn't win either.

I've been loads of times over the years. I used to go regularly to Wednesday games in the late sixties and early seventies with a mate who supported them and who lived a few doors away. He used to come to Bramall Lane too. I was at that famous Man City game in 1970 with him, getting soaked on the roofless Kop.

I also went quite regularly to see them in the early nineties, that first season back up in the top flight when they had a really good side playing entertaining football with the likes of Nilsson, Hirst, Sheridan and Warhurst shining.

I don't see the slightest problem with it. As I've said before, I've never hated Wednesday, never called them "pigs" and I never will. Love beating them, mind, and taking the mick but that's as far as it goes.

Was on Leppings Lane with the Chester City supporters for an FA cup replay against Wednesday late 80''s, the night when Gary Bennett of Chester shattered Ian Knights leg with a shocking tackle, a tackle that more or less ended Knights career.

My piggy family used to take me when very young down from my grandma's house in Wadsley. My uncle was a plod and used to get free tickets if he'd been on duty at The Sty. Apparently I was taken at age 1 to see The Piggies return from their glorious defeat at Wembley in 1966.

I remember our kop booing Bennett after that!

Yes one stupid drunk Saturday (on it early )
Pigs played scum at swilsbrough so straight from wello to pig farm to see pigs smashed by scumm think it was the same game a pig named FLASH MORON dived off 10 metres board to get a pen
Cheers Tommy for a great day Two very happy drunk blades

Ian Bowyer you beauty. Wonderful celebrating with my Blade mates on their Kop at the end whilst they were crying their eyes out. Just looked it up, 44k there that night.

The 4k were Blades. Piss wet through on the kop. Great night.

Got back off holiday one Saturday morning and went with my lad v Everton. Leppings Lane end was full so had to go on the kop. It was pigs 125th celebration and we got a medal to commemorate the event. Through it in the river on the way home.

Forgot about that one. Went to all three games. When we got the second at the sty I through bobble hat in the air and lost the fucker.
