Jordan Rhodes?I have a vague recollection of a player saying he was going to sign for a team then he went on their forum and saw everyone was against it so didn't.
I'm Trenton Wiggan but no one will remember him!. Don't know why I even bothered with the wink its not as if anyone believed me!
I'd love to know who reads the site from the current team! As for the past I really hope Neil Warnock goes on here and knows how I feel about him flirting with the Pigs job! Not that he'd care I know!
No, that thick twat ignored the comments and signed for them.Jordan Rhodes?
I'm sure older readers will remember the tantrum that Steve Faulkner's daughter had when it was suggested her old man wasn't a very good player!
The funny thing is if Danny_Blade is indeed Danny Webber, no one would believe him anyway!
Prove it, show me your broken fingernail.I am Ashley Ward.
I know a potential manager and his back room staff read comments on here that weren't lets say, very complementary and went part way to him not coming, plus compo to his club :-o of course
I would bet good money that tufty is on here. He's a fan first and I bet he would have been registered for years. In fact I'm sure he's referenced the forums in an interview this season.
I see one of your brothers regularly. Big Blade. He never mentions you though....
So what we need now is a what do you do for a living thread, of course no one would lie!
Phil Parkinson?
Correct
I'm sure he's referenced certain things in interviews that have been said on here.
I'm glad my playing days were pre Internet. I would have 100% gone on to see what fans thought of me, I would have probably posted as well, but then it would have been obvious as my German was shite. I think most players just wouldn't be able to stop themselves, it's only human. I know lots of teachers and all of them have checked ratemyteacher.com. I had to make do with things I could hear from the stands. My girlfriend when I first came here told me to learn phrases. No word of a lie, the first one I learned, I overheard from the stands as I was faffing around on the line. 'Where the feck is he going'? The second was a chant from a few Ultras, 'he's our own island monkey'. Not one I could use in daily life.
I'm sure he's referenced certain things in interviews that have been said on here.
....and I have a triple split personality (was going to use schizophrenia but can't spell it) and the clue is in MY usernameWell I'm Danny Webber, at least I gave you all a clue in my username.
And I still haven't forgiven myself for hitting the post against Wigan!
He's slightly before my time but seems heroic! I was brought up on the Bassett 1989/90 team! That's still my favourite Blades team!
I remember Steve Conroy being a capable keeper. Was a young lad who was a decent shot stopper but was very suspect coming for the catches. He wasn't bad, but he certainly was no Kelly or Tracey.
Unfortunately, he is probably tainted by being in the team the day we went down to division 4 under the arrogant clown that was Martin Peters (the first time that the Wet Shammers cheated us by sending the useless tosser to us). Remember the penalty against us scored by Don Penn at the Bramall Lane end and Conroy seemed to get a hand to it but just couldnt keep it out....he was so close to being a hero that day.
Don't know if he gives a toss about Utd these days or whether he ever watches us, but I do know his daughter used to watch us in the early 90s.
Hope he's well and happy wherever he is. Once a blade...
I remember him standing in for Waugh in the 82/3 season. Wasn't that bad from memory.Heroic isn't a word that I would associate with Trenton Wiggan's football prowess.
In fairness, had it not been for the completely needless penalty that we gave away, he would have kept a clean sheet that day.
Are you Tony Moore?I once did this when I played in the non-leagues in my late teens and early 20's and the comment that stays with me is "clearly just a good Sunday league player who got lucky, I wish he'd stick to Sunday league though", oh how I cried. I worked out who the poster was and used to aim for him in the stands in the warm up the wanker.
Are you Tony Moore?
Maybe the Foxies should start a Player only section
Then the Players could have their say about us .....................
The Pyromaniacs in the Kop, the Braying, Soup Flask Toting know it alls in the South Stand, and the nice people in the Family Stand
/TinHatOn
Are you Tony Moore?
A bloke in the Cutlers told me Alex NotmanDidn't Robbie Savage recently say that he used to post in the forums when he was a player...
Wonder who could be which player? Anyone want to 'out' any users?
Players must read the forums, partly to see what the fans think of them. I guess it's worth keeping that in mind as we can play a role in encouraging players and not letting them get negged out by posting something negative that does not need to be posted.
Also, would a team thinking of signing a player have a quick look at forums to help make their mind up? Some would.
You wereI am Ashley Ward.
You were useless.. You also caught the ball in front of the Kop p for Blackburn you then scored and the goal was given.I am Ashley Ward.
