For exiled Blades. Blades who are putting the kids to bed. Blades on Nights. Blades who are whacking a Spag Bol into the microwave. Or for the terminally can't be arsed.

There is live commentary on tonight's U18 National Final from the Lane. You'll want to get on

www.livesportsfm.co.uk

from 1830. I'll live tweet teams, scores, other bollox, etc on

twitter.com/ball_sup

And it'll all come together on the Blog idc

www.ball-sup.blogspot.co.uk

But, mainly, a plug for the Live Commentary

Where the bloody hell have they found this ref? No wonder tackling is a dying art when any decent challenge is a free kick.

Coventry's captain has spent more time on the deck holding random bits of his anatomy than anything else. A particular highlight was him going down holding his face, receiving treatment on his back then limping off rubbing his leg.

No pitch invasions, whistles or tennis balls yet.

I'm getting ready.....

Full time: Sheffield United 1 - 0 Coventry City

Exciting injury time scrap in United's penalty area. Blades dropped back a bit deep late on and invited pressure. Got away with it though.

Referee continued to be useless. Some frankly bizarre decisions.

David Parkhouse played centre forward and created problems for them all night and he is a unit.
Regan Slate stood head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch re his ability and his awareness, just hope he was not too badly injured, not like him to come off with a knock.

Who's the number 10? He looks like a reight unit!
10 for the trophy presentation was Joe Cummings who we have released and has signed for Charlton on a 2 yr deal. It was a bit of class from the staff to get him involved as he played a big part in the teams succes this year likewise Cal Semple who also stepped up to collect his medal great show of team spirit

IF Slater was the No 8 then I thought he came off with cramp in both legs. IMO a really good prospect with vision, a good pass and worked his gonads off. He earned the cramp and was my MOTM. Horatio was fast but seemed to drift in and out and our no 10 seemed to always 'exagerate' when he was fouled. This turned the ref against him.
