Scougs has done well on the occasions he's been called on this season and chipped in with a couple of important goals.

Shame its not worked out for him here, he looked quality when he first came in to the side.

Yeah, too lightweight though. That's his problem. Love his energy and those bursting runs forward, but many times he's just chasing shadows. I'd go back to Scotland if I was him. Unless he's happy to play no higher than League 1 in England?

you think they should have stayed?

The guy is suggesting that Done, Hussey and Wilson could still force their way back into plans I think. In the case of Done and Hussey, I doubt it. In the case of Wilson...don't know. We really didn't see hardly anything of him.

I'm pleased Done is going. I thought he was great in his first season for us. But he's done nothing this season in a very good team. Good luck to the lad for the future but he'll never play higher than League 1 imo.

About what I expected, surely it puts to bed the theory of loads of new signings.

2 out, 2 in, 3 on the list, 2 loans gone back.

A couple of loans and 2 new signing's is my guess.

Assuming the listed players leave and that we will still play 3 centre defenders, I reckon we need:

two central defenders (Brayford as one ?) ,
a left back/wing back,
right back/wing back cover (Brayford ?)
at least one striker (Evans ?),
cover for Fleck/Coutts/Duffy (O'Shea,Whiteman will be back plus one other if Carruthers leaves ?)

I would like a keeper as well to challenge Moore

With regard to Brayford, his season is ongoing so don't read anything into this yet.

As most have said, good luck to the lads that are moving on. I don't remember Wilson doing much wrong when I have seen him play, but I don't see him as much as CW and AK do.

Wilson and Hussey were part of the defence that dumped us botton of the league.

Done was asked to play left sided midfield - which he couldn't and this was after CW saying he wouldn't play LWB.

No place for sentiment - CW gets it spot on again.

Hmmmmmm - now where is this all going to go tits up? Things are going to well - hasn't someone told CW this is Sheff United.

Yeah, and such a shame for him, because he has most of everything else he'd need to succeed. Lightning quick, direct, decent touch, can pick a pass, team player, wholehearted and committed. The only thing holding him back is his (natural) size and weight.

Sorting that out, for example by putting on some serious muscle, could wreck his mobility. But I'm surprised no-one in the game has tried this with him so far.

As per above, good luck Stefan Scougall.

Decent touch, pick a pass you are joking surely?
Can't fault him for effort though.

Thanks Scougs always remember your goal at Wembley and your part in our Cup runs. So Brayford is staying ?

Agree, it must be difficult for a little' un to compete in a sport where physical strength and athleticism are increasingly valued attributes. I appreciate some of the Worlds best aren't that tall but this is the English Championship we're talking about

Presumably they got told before they went to Vegas, would be a fair kick in the teeth otherwise.
.

You'd think so. On the flipside for them, if there is a tab in Vegas being paid by SUFC or the directors, I'd be hugely disappointed if Scougs and McNulty aren't caning the fuck out of it!

Go well fellas, each had their moments of real quality, but the decision is bang on. Sure they'll bounce back and do well in the rest of their careers.

Scougs will have to be using it if he is buying a beer himself he will never get served not with out ID, they will think it is someone's kid brother along for the ride.

no surprises in transfer lists or released players, maybe done could consider himself unlucky as he has done a good job & doesnt mind doing the dirty jobs. But if he wants to stay just look at freeman & coutts espically both transfer listed 11mths ago now indespensible. but hussey wilson mcnulty & scougall we all expected as all havent really featured in recent months. I find mcnulty a shame, as i always felt he had potential to be younger billy sharp but it something that never worked out like he could a portsmouth & livingston.

But i Wish Scougall all the best i really like him he was fantastic in his 1st season here. Good in the 2nd season but never really hit the heights of his 1st season Although he did tail off this season. I always thought he was 1 of the few that were happy to make forward runs & im sure that we will never forget that great goal to put us 2-1 up v hull & 45 mins from fa cup final

I would hope more than two signings. We need more strength and ability in the back four, cover for the midfield trio in case of injuries and ditto up front. I'd be happy with four signings, even if one was an out of contract, as long as they're fucking capable. In Wilder we trust. Just give him the cash, McCabe.

Good choices to release. I would have kept EEL, meself. Wolves might have given us a reduced cost on him.

Gutted for Scoug's, lifes a bitch, and as much i have always enjoyed watching him, i can understand CW's decision, you're too small mate !
as for McNulty, well i have to say he appears to have grown up, but, it was never meant to be.....sorry pal...
