Blade in Pig Land
They have given us the John Street side of the BL Lower which i find quite odd.
That's just bizarre.

Not really there is a natural gap between the BLLT and the south stand to help segregation. Not so in the BLLT / John st corner plus emergency exits from the BLUT are in this corner too. That's just bizarre.

Do you still get that godawful James Morrison song down the phone whilst you're waiting?
"Let me hooold you for the last tiiiime"
As someone who has bought today, I will simply say that I was lazy and thought I'd be able to get one a couple of weeks ago but when I looked they'd sold out.
Not that I need to explain myself or give my Bladey Blade credentials. It's odd that people actually buying tickets are getting more abuse than the Blades not actually going at all (who don't deserve abuse either).
Surely the choice of putting Chez fans next to the family stand or H-Block is a no brainer.
No doubt there will be netting up on H Block now, thus depriving us Blades of more seats. If the Chez fans were at the John St end, all of H Block could have been opened.
They will also certainly net off the bottom few rows on both the BL upper and the BL lower, and close some rows between the Westfield Corner and the BLUT, despite it being home fans on both of those. I also expect to see some of the seats closest to the BL end in the John St unsold, despite the fact that home fans will be on both.
Seems crazy when there are still so many Blades wanting tickets
Charlie normally says "Ghwharraghwaghwaghwharraghwaghwa-ieow".Charlie says "buy a season ticket".

The whole very idea of netting as segregation is fucking stupid. It's counter productive. Football fans don't want to attack each other, they want to posture and act hard. Take the netting away and have just a thin line of stewards and they wouldn't dare. We've literally sold out and will still have 2,000 empty seats in the stadium. It's absolutely stupid. That could've been an extra £40k in the coffers

How can they further limit H block now? Tickets have been sold.
The small section closest to the pitch and the away end always seems to be netted off for big games, doubt it will be any different on Sunday. It would be good to do a breakdown of how many seats were unsold, and find out exactly why.
I wonder if some kind of solution could be achieved where the concourse on the BLUT or lower could be physically divided. This happens at many away stands, often there's just a metal gate across the concourse and separate entrances.

I was similar, I tried 124 times and managed to log online eventually through my phone. Paid for a ticket and then said that the funds may have been taken but cannot confirm ticket allocated. So tried again and same happened.Worse - there's no queuing whatsoever. You're either through, or it's 'user busy', which makes it entirely pot luck. I called 144 times between 8:55 and 9:30, without getting through, while I know someone went straight through at 9:15 on his first attempt. Annoying to say the least.
Large area's of unused seats as segregation can get opposing fans to taunt each other and more (they feel safe in doing so,because of the no mans land).
Small area's of segregation,a couple of seats a line of stewards, and you dont see any taunting, maybe banter but thats all (because you are in slapping range,so respect is shown),you see this at all the Premier league grounds, maybe West Ham excepted.
I've always thought filling in the corner was a bit of a vanity project. My first thought when I saw it was how are we going to segregate? We really need to sort this situation out for next season when crowds vs the likes of Wednesday, Leeds, Forest, Derby, Sunderland are all going to be in and around 30k. We can't keep having 3,000 seats netted off, it's totally ridiculous.
I've heard that there's not going to be many chezzie fans in there section anyway, I know of at least 10 blades that have bought away tickets direct from Chesterfield before we had any extra allocation today.I'm sure I read somewhere they are leaving the Chesterfield fans near the South Stand due to facilities, food and toilets, and for the ease of there disabled supporters. I could be making that up however.

I read something similar on there forum last night (night shift= too much time on my hands). Only a few posters on there admitted buying tickets whilst they were being barrated by the other posters!I've heard that there's not going to be many chezzie fans in there section anyway, I know of at least 10 blades that have bought away tickets direct from Chesterfield before we had any extra allocation today.
