All I am doing is telling you that I don't agree with the signing on footballing reasons and it's a risky signing because it more than likely lose some fans. I don't want to lose fans over a signing of any player, we are better than that. It's nothing personal about Ched at all as I fully supported him for release etc but his time has gone and it's time to move on. We did this year and look what happened

Ched's the victim of this more than the Blades. He spent two and a half years in prison with sex offender status for a crime he didn't commit. His actions, while a bit seedy, were totally legal and are commonplace. Baxter let the club down by flouting the sport's strict drug policies but he was still cheered on every week. Ched didn't let the club down. He didn't breach any club rule, he was the innocent victim of circumstances.

Like most, I totally trust in Wilder - the way he has brought this great club together is nothing short of genius. I will feel better if I was certain that he has some say in this 'potential' deal. I hope that this isnt being done over his head or without his full support.
