I'm actually in love with that man! On a slight tangent of this thread the video of him back outside the lane Saturday evening brings tears to my eyes every time I watch it! Hundreds of blades fans clamouring to get near him and chanting 'Chrissy wilder, he's one of our own' while he's paraded on someone's shoulders, you can just see the pride and complete happiness on his face as he soaks it up before he covers his eyes. I don't know what it is about that video but I just find it magical, I've fallen head over heels back in love with our great football club once more and it is almost entirely down to that man. Chris Wilder, no matter what happens in the coming months and years, you sir will forever be a legend in my mind. The epitomy of what Sheffield United is to me.

Just heard Knill's interview. He says 'we're in today, off tomorrow and back in on Wednesday and Thursday'. So it's just a case of Wilder not mentioning they were training today.

Would love to see how they managed to train - bet they were wobbling about all over the place!

He was on the train back to York behind me and needed some Blades to tell him the York result from the FA Trophy semi against Lincoln. Strange how he went to see us instead and was relying on football fans on a train to discover how his first love got on (although within seconds of finding out they'd won, he got a text telling him when the open top bus parade was pencilled in for)

I haven't watched it mate but that did make me laugh!

He said he was a Blade in an interview for the Star a few years back. Ironically he joked how Blades (all Sheffielders in fact) never believe him because they assume he is Leeds through and through. TC his favourite player of all time. Think his Mum might have grown up near Abbeydale Road if memory serves, so he followed her lead and chose us as his club.
